found a natural wonder cure for VA

As a natural alternative to VA try Fenugreek seeds. you can also get powdered seeds or leaves, but the seeds work best for me (1 large tbs soaked in boiling water overnight x 1 pint.Take half in the morning and half at bedtime. literally I was back to normal after less than 24 hours. its known as a natural HRT and eases most femal discomforts. I am so relieved by this MIRACLE that I had to share it with anyone looking for a natural alternative to HRT. I would love to hear from anyone who has tried this and has had the same positive reaction as I have had. Its been three months and the only discomfort I have experienced is having a slight vaginal discomfort a few times over the months, which I clear up with sudocream..

    Hi Evelyn

Will certainly try this remedy.  How severe was your VA?  Were you on HRT or just mild discomfort.  Put fennegreek seeds and VA into good old google and found a useful website with all sorts of herbal remedies for various ailments so will try these too.

Evelyn, are you saying to soak a tablesppon of seeds in a pint of boiling water then drink one cup in the am and one in the pm?

This is interesting, but people should be aware of "possible" side effects:

(diarrhea, stomach upset, bloating, gas, a “maple syrup” odor in urine, nasal congestion, coughing, wheezing, facial swelling, and severe allergic reactions in hypersensitive people and it might lower blood sugar) before trying it, particularly if they are on meds fpr diabetes.

Personally, I think I would work my way up to the amount you are taking to be on the safe side as I am a person who tends to react to a simple bug bite! But thanks for the tip. Might be the answer for some of us.

Yup and then you have to make sure it wouldnt affect a med you are on..how would you know,i doubt a drug interaction checker would work on this one.

I googled them.Found lots of info on Web Md.You do have to be careful if you have diabetes as it can lower it..when you are already on meds, that would need to be watched,i think it mentioned an interaction with warfin and a few others.Looks like you can purchase it through Walmart.I am opened minded and might try, however i would probably start with a lower dose to see how i handle it.

hi Beverly, just ask yourself a question. How many medications have you been priscribed with dozens of possable side effects?for example oveston ( which I was priscribed, and had a very bad reaction to) has at least 12. If you are really interested in trying this then it would be better to stop taking meds, especially for VA. Wait until your next dose is due and then start  the fenugreek.. its only a food and there is little danger of harming yourself. Start with a desert spoon soaked in half a litre of boiling water at bedtime.Drink half first thing in the morning on an empty stomach about 20 mins before breakfast and the other half at bedtime. This was my first dose and I have just slightly increased it  to a larger spoon. i found the tangier it is the better it works. i know I will never be without it in my cupboard, I was amazed at how quickly it alleviated my symptoms, which were horrific.Imagine not aving to worry about the risk of getting brest cancer, from meds. it may not work for you, but I hope it does because its changed my life. I am almost 70 years old now and can look foraward to a future without that dreadful condition. ps. I also eat the swolen seeds in my soups etc. Its all good for you. You can buy it on ebay by the kilo, or if you'r stuck you can buy 200 gram bags from most indian food stores. It really is that easy. I found my bowels were functinning better too as it is one of the best body cleansers around. there is loads of info online but you have to search for what you want, like I did.

Fortunately I am not on any meds so I would advise anyone on meds, wanting to try it to check the web first. Otherwise do give it a chance. ps you can purchase it on ebay, it doesent need to be organic.

Hi Evelyn, I'm not concerned about trying it. I have used Chinese herbs with success and am interested in Ayurvedic medicine. I was just pointing out most medicines as well as natural remedies have possible side effects for Lee's benefit. I happen to favor using natural, but they can still affect our bodies just as medications can which is why they are effective. I wrote another post that the moderator removed for reasons I can't fathom re alternative medicine practioners, the time they spend with patients and our medical doctors who at this point know less about the new laser treatment (that we have discussed on this site) than we do.

Lee, you can google and get many of your questions answered. fenugreek is used in Ayurvedic medicine which is Indian and very old (similar to how herbs are used in Asian medicine), Foods contain many cures but western medicine seems to fall way behind on that front. Medical school must teach them if it isn't a pill made by big Pharma it isn't valid because it hasn't passed testing. BTW Ayurvedics treat according to body types. It's "the traditional Hindu system of medicine, which is based on the idea of balance in bodily systems and uses diet, herbal treatment, and yogic breathing". You should check it out. Many herbal teas found in health food stores are ayurvedic remedies .

If you ever go to an alternative medicine practitioner you will find that their methods are far different starting with taking time to listen to everything you have to say about problems you are experiencing. They look at your body as a whole entity and connect the dots so to speak.

I've long since learned not to put all my eggs in the western medecine basket. Am also encountering some doctors that are somewhat more open minded, particularly re acupuncture.

They are simple seed, bought in most Indian shops 200 grms or ebay. they dont have to be organic.Soak 1 tbsp in 1 pint boiling water at night, drink half in morning on an empty stomach and the rest at bedtime The soaked seeds can be added to soups, stews etc and have a similar consistancy to barley. it was a bit of an accident how I discovered them. As I am nearly 70 and well past the menopause I was shocked to discover I had VA. the doc priscribed Hrt cream, but did not agree with me. I couldn.t have felt worse. I had severe burning ,itching and dryness. I couldn;t eat or sleep I felt so wretched My sister recommended fenugreek seeds and within 24 hours my life was back to normal, and its as simple as that, ps you can buy the powder and add to any dish you like. There is lots of info on line
