Received a letter today which says I have been found fit to work. The date on the letter is 5th December. I don't get this as I have not had a face to face thing. I do not have any other income on top of all I got letter from council saying my hb/ctax is stopping. What a should I do? I am going to lose my home...

My friends ESA was stopped, I supported her to write a MR, which was also refuesed, I supported her then to appeal and we are due for tribunal soon, they re-instated her ESA until a decision is made at the tribunal and awarded her back pay, which had been stopped from back in September.

however my friend owns her own house and therefore didn't have to worry about Housing benefit. I found out she had been paying full council tax and was unaware she should have had this benefit. So if she wins the tribunal, I'm hopeful she can be compensated for her CT benefit also.

good luck Julie when you ring.
