Frozen Shoulder

I have had a frozen shoulder since November 2016. It is now February 2017. I have been prescribed Naproxen, Vicodin, and Percocet. They take the edge off, but nothing really helps. I had a cortisone shot 3 weeks ago that helped for a week, but this week nothing helps. I am in agony, I can't find a comfortable position to sleep in, a comfortable position to work in. Nothing helps. It is a constant burning that runs down my arm. If I turn the wrong way tears come and the pain is so intense it makes me nauseas. If I can get my husband to rub it that will help temporarily and I had a massage last week that was great.
I can't live with this for years till it thaws

Hello shoulderouch373, I'm so sorry to hear that you are suffering so. I know the pain that you are experiencing. It may not
Seem like it now, but very very mild stretching
Excercises from a physical therapist may
Break up some scar tissue, until you have
A little bit more mobility. Other than that,
Time, is the only thing that in a lot of cases that will be of help to get you to the
Next stage. Although unbearable at times,
They helped me get to the next stage. I
Hope that this helps some. In any event,
I wish you well.

That's great news you've found some relief! I had a good session at the acupuncturist today he did cupping on should & back and got some pretty good movement from it! Looks like I've been attached by an octopus tentacle tho!

I had surgery, an arthroscopic capsular release.
Followed this with fairly intense physio. After a month or two I got pretty much full movement back. The main thing was that gut wrenching pain was immediately gone. The surgery was done on a day patient basis, and it was pretty much like a conveyor belt, loads of ladies and me. All in and out. I cant see the scars at all, and honestly think that if you can and its suitable you should consider ACR. Good luck

I am in the US and have private health insurance thru my employer. It is better than nothing, but it truly is awful at times. This time is one of them. The US truly needs National Health Care, but with our new President I don't have much hope

Hi sorry to hear about your pain. I totally understand you are not alone. I had right shoulder labral repair may 2016 and have never recovered since. I have not been able to work due the 24/7 pain down my arm & hand, loss of movement in my arm and migraine attacks that last up to weeks from muscle spasms.
Fortunately, I have a very understanding husband that has since learnt how to clean.
My GP tried to put me on antidepressants...ahh no way! If the pain wasn't there, I wouldn't be here crying! After seeing a Psycoligist...im not depressed.
I have had 2 hydrodilatation- no help. MRI shows multiple minor changes. No one has a plan to help. I am getting a second opion next week and seeing a pain specialist.
Valium & panadeine helps the spasms & to sleep. Be careful taking anti inflammatory meds, I got stomach ulcers.
PT almost killed me, I will return once the pain settles.
Look forward to seeing how you go
