Frustrated!

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and new to Orlistat. I started taking it Monday of last week, 29th September. I stayed close to home, lined my undies and balanced out all my food according to my instructions. Absolutely nothing has happened! No weight loss, no inch loss, no accidents. I cannot believe it. Does anyone else have this problem or know why it's not happening for me? I'm so fed up.

I crapped myself yesterday with xenical. It was my 5th day on it and now I'm seriously considering going off it. Is it really worth the mess?

Have you stuck to the low fat diet completely? Things like that shouldn't happen unless there is a lot of fat in what you eat, where you on the diet before starting the tablets?

Hi, you did make me laugh!  Hope you don't take that the wrong way...obviously not nice, but will calm down with low fat diet.  How are you doing now, any better?

Tnx Iorna03589. To be honest, I've had a bit of fat in my diet this week. But really, isn't xenical meant to remove the fat in your food. I mean, like if one is on a low fat diet, what fat is there to remove then? I feel lighter tho.

Tnx nocaface. I feel a lot better this morning and lighter too. I'd do the specal K diet with low fat milk this week. Hopefully, I'd get better results.

Well there is always some fat in the things we eat, even if it's only a little bit. The tablets work more as a deterrent than anything else, they force you to keep to the low fat diet or you get the side effects, and once the majority of the fat is removed from what you eat they can start to work on your fat researves. Eat healthy and exercise lots, and that will speed up the process too, I hope things get better!
