FS again!!.......

Hi everyone. Hope you're all well and not in too much pain (you more than likely are though). Fantastic news about Kerri x.

Can I ask if any of you have become a bit of a hermit?? I only go out to take my son to school, but it's a feat!!!! I feel exhausted and irritable all the time. Sometimes I feel so sick from pain, that in itself

Makes me not want to go out in case I feel sick and actually unwell. Like the last couple of days have been awful, hence not been on here much. Makes my ache more typing!! Do any of you feel unwell sometimes with it all??

I feel terrible moaning like this as listening about the plane crash, seems wrong.

Thank you x

I'm glad they are going to check it all out....you poor thing, and the fact your medical system is a little slow certainly dosnt help the situation. I wondered if you had had glandular fever?

are you doing what we have advised Jim to do....taking your pain meds on a regular basis and not just when you can't handle the pain any more. Just trying to help hunny 😘❌❌❌❌

    Hi Melanie 55366,

Yes, I have felt generally unwell, and indeed nauseous for much of my FS journey. No answers as to why. It feels like a general systemic unwellness and the relentless pain along with this unwellness is exhausting! I get grumpy too, and have had to work hard to stay positive. L shoulder started freezing 13 months ago, and is slowly slowly regaining ROM and strength and coordination which is wonderful, but it still gets sore and wears me out.... Huge journey... Now right shoulder is following similar path. I am on this site for reassurance Β and also more searching for answers... Have read and tried everything that feels like it might help. AC has a mind and a life of it's own. It is too extreme to be just a nerve thing or just a reaction to an injury. I hope that we can gain more insight one day into the causes and effective preventions and treatments. Keep searching for your own answers and know that you are not alone.

I think my general body inflammation was a big factor in why my shoulders froze. My surgeon believes that diabetic genes without having diabetes itself even is a clue. I happened to have heavy metal poisoning as in Mercury and lead. My thyroid had been attacked as well so I felt sick too. Β Feel your pain and frustration. Try anything that will improve your inflammation status thru diet change etc. Β Good luck

Hi Hilary. Exactly why I came on here and was so pleased to find it!!

I feel so much better with you telling me that you felt that bad too. Omg I don't mean to wish you ill health, that sounded awful!!!

Just that feeling so bad because of my shoulder?? I start thinking there's something else wrong!! I sound crazy!!

I've said to Cheryl that I'm getting pain in the other one now. Does it sometimes feel like someone/ something is pushing down on your shoulder, but like really hard, painfully hard. Insane pressure feeling?

      Stop whinging now!! Sorry x

      Hi Terry,

the diabetic issue is an big one I know. I understand there is a higher chance of getting AC and of recurrences of AC for diabetics. I read about a research study that found a higher level of sugar in the shoulder tissues of AC patients (I'm not sure of the quality of the study though). There were no conclusions about whether they were related or connected in any way. I am working on diet and lifestyle for sure. I still wonder about this journey being just so extreme and watching it now unfolding in my other shoulder has shown me more clearly how ridiculously extreme it is and how I simply cannot control it no matter what I try to do. I really really feel for everyone here, and wish everyone good sleeps and full recoveries. smile

I'm glad you felt reassured not to be alone with those feelings Mel. There are a lot of other symptoms with this condition than just pain. We get anxious because it hurts and disables us so much and there are not enough answers.

i do get pressure feelings, and there are times when I lose the strength to use my arm and I just have to rest it on something. It's a dragging feeling. It's not because my arm or shoulder are not strong. They are strong!! All sorts of weird pains and lumps etc... All part of the journey...Β

We we will get better one day!!
