Glad to hear that you see a result already.

Haven't tried the witch hazel and aloe, but I keep it in mind just in case I need another method.

For now I swear by baking soda baths and rinses and coconut oil.

Glad to hear you're better. I believe there's some confusion in that some doctors advise us to have lots of penetrative intercourse to keep our vaginal introitus from shrinking. ("If you don't use it, you lose it.") I think this is standard advice for post-menopausal women who have vulvar atrophy. The thing with LS is that friction stirs up yeast and can trigger an LS flare-up, especially if you add to the load stress and its best friend, comfort-eating of sugar. Have sex when your LS is not active and you're calm and eating well. It may not be as frequent as he would like, but I like to think he doesn't want to cause you pain.

Speaking of sugar,, sugar is NOT a friend anymore. One thing that i've noticed more than anything, is that sugar and processed foods send this into Overdrive. Try to eat as little processed sugar as possible and processed foods.. This condition will quickly transform diets into raw and organic because that's the only way it seems like that i can eat without this going insanely itchy. I tried eating some cookies? Ohhhh holy cow, i thought i was itchy before.. an endless night sleeping, scratching to bleeding and never wanting to even see another oreo again eek

I just recently went sugar, grain and dairy free...amongst some other items as well. I also had this on my legs...it has cleared...whew!  I'm doing the Paleo auto-immune diet trying also to heal an auto-immune disease in my mouth. Down below...all better...hope it stays that way. Has been helping, but I believe this is going to be a long term journey to get the results I need. On a plus side I've lost some weight...which was needed.
