I have had gallstones since 2015, and I've been pretty nauseous for about a year and a half now thanks to them. I started a diet where I don't eat much, and my nausea is pretty much gone, but once I eat a bigger meal again I get super nauseous. I have really bad acid reflux, not sure if it's related to the gallstones or I just have it, but it's annoying and I burp a lot! I take apple cider vinegar for the pain, but I have yet to remove my gallbladder from all the horror stories I hear. Good luck to you! Feel better!

Hi just wanted to say I've had mine out now and was best thing I could have done no more pain! Highly recommend the op if you are suffering. I also have bad acid reflux which unfortunately hasn't improved since having the gallbladder out, for some reason I was hoping it would! The acid had got worse since having the stones so am disappointed it hasn't improved after having the op. Going to to back to docs. Good luck to you Too!

Yay! So glad you had it done and you feel better! Unfortunately, looks like you've joined the reflux club with us all. They must go hand in hand. And, I believe it's part of our nausea and no appetite. Good luck, hope you get better everyday.

Yes!  I feel sick every time i eat!  I am so sick of it.  I have changed my diet, eating mostly raw foods and protien, but I still feel sick every time.  I was wondering if I was the only one feeling this way.  I have never had acid reflux, but I do now, big time.

Oh Lord!! Please someone enlighten me and tell me this gets better! I suffer with ulcerative colitis, was diognosed sept 16 and in May of this year began getting excruisating pains under right ribcage thru my back, down my leg and up my shoulder, feels like burning pains, this started 4.5 months ago. After 3 trips to a&e they diognosed me with a large amount of stones in the gallbladder (but missed it the first 2 trips?) I was on an 8 month waiting list but because of been to a&e a further 3 times since then, my op has been pushed forward to 7th November but I just don't know how much more of this I can take? I'm grateful it's been done in few weeks but I'm beginning to get mentally ill from all this. I feel with the gallbladder issue/inflammation, it's damaging other organs like my bowels again and flaring up my colitis. Anyone get a new lease of life when they got gallbladder removal?? I see no light at d end of that tunnel. I have 3 young kids so feel like my whole family I suffering,, help/advice pleasseee

I have days where I'm feeling sick and then days where I cant stop feeling sick. I started a low fat diet but I just stick to veg, I can eat chicken and omelette that is plain but I hate egg! You can buy low fat milk that has 0.1percent in it from Iceland, 80 p a carton 1.00 for a bottle in sainsburys. I have infections all the time, I get told that is in my urine cause there's blood and a lot and that I have a liver dysfunction but its not bad enough to keep me in hospital so I get sent home with antibiotics only to have same symptoms week later. Its a vicious circle soon as you feel ok again you end up ill again. I wake up in middle of the night where there's a strange pain in my ribs more on left side and I get a burning sensation in my chest when I breath in, I got told it was acid reflux but I take tablets for that and they are not effective. Keep going back to your gp what I was told to do, they will write a letter to your hospital on an urgent matter, trust me they can push it forward if needed.
