Garlic stings then you have to get it out which could be a problem. What you could do is extract some garlic water from the clove of garlic and insert this, it will sting as the area is sensitive. You will probably smell a little of garlic but not overly so. Tea tree oil is good to use perhaps a few drops in the shower.

I used to buy garlic capsules in the shops here in the Uk but do not see it these days. I used to take them as directed.
Hope they work for you.

If conventional medicine hasn't worked for you, I doubt garlic is going to help. You gotta know what your triggers are because that's the only way you can prevent against BV. Treating it with antibiotics excessively will only make the bacteria resistant and more difficult to treat. If your doctors are prescribing you medication and haven't had a follow up with you confirming you have it or not, your doctors are hurting you. But, if they confirmed you don't have it and you come back a couple weeks later having it again, unfortunately the responsibility is on you. If you're having sex and not using condoms, I highly suggest wrapping up so you don't have to deal with this anymore. If you are wrapping up, incorporate probiotics and vitamins into your diet for life and stay away from certain soaps that could throw off your pH.

last time I listened to a home remedy I ended up at rock bottom
I tried apple cider vinegar for the smell I put it in my bath 2 days later I had a sore on my vag lips and I got bv so bad I wanted to end it I was so fed up trying home remedies spending money on vitamins broic acid imported from the states vitamin c inserts and other suppositories
antibiotics off clinic twice .
it got me so crazy I was smelling bv when it wasnt there to smell but I was convinced I smelled .
my smell went a week after the apple cider vinegar thing but I could still smell that vile smell it drove me to insanity.
what I've learned is to stop sticking things up my vag spending loads on suppositories like boric acid .
please be be careful of what others tell you to try they have the best intentions of course but I never want anyone to go through what I have in 3 weeks of hell.
boric acid was the only thing that worked but I've stopped them I'm letting nature take its place and im 3 weeks bv free .
I changed my diet also that helped .
