It is a case of trial and error. Somethings work, somethings make things worse. I have used boric acid and felt worse. I thought that I would never use hydrogen peroxide as, even the sound of it is chemically adversive. Eventually when desperate beyond all measure I did use it and it worked. The drawback was never endingly it felt having irritable bladder so I was weeing everywhere which was an inconveince. The doctor's medicine for this may have worked or things were going to get better anyway. The side effect of the medicine was that it changed my personality, people found it difficult. I read that the medicine could cause hallucinations and possibly this was part of the hallucination. Eventually I got back to normal. I was so fed up with never endingly going to the GP as were they of myself. I still have irritable bladder sometimes. Having been on two medicines for this I just want a rest from it all. Then with the antibiotics that I had I am fairly sure I had systemic thrush that drove me barmy but I did not realise this at the time, that I had thrush and that was the cause of the pain and distress. Peace be with you always.
