Hi All,

I have diagnosed with Gastritis problem almost 7 months ago, The PH test was also positive, I took the medication for 2 months including antibiotics and espramozole with some some other tablets, after two months The HP test was negative,

I have had Endscopy three times, after two months of medication doctor did the endscopy and he said the stomac looks okey now, After 4 months, Now I feel irritation again in the stomach, just in the centre I guess its called Esophagus.

I did HP test again it was negative, I am using omeprazole for last one month, I feel litte okey now, but not completely well.

What I felt is this is more related to Diet, I am damn confused what to eat or not,

I am using mostly Low fat milk, Yougurt, vegitables, Ginger, fruits mostly bananas.

Whenever I eat anything oily I feel the irritation,

Can somebody suggest me what should I eat or drink ?

Try taking daily probiotics 30,000 Bil. Also fermented foods are great. Cut back on dairy and bananas. Use a fiber powder mixed in water. Don't eat after 6:00 pm.

      Hello Marti T

thanks for your response, what do you mean by Fermented food ? Could you pls suggest, which food and fruits are good to eat ?

Fermented like meso soup and sauerkraut in the jar (no can). You can eat it cold and coupe spoons with meal. Use baking soda teaspoon in small glass water to reduce acid. I take gas reducer capsule twice a day. Works wonders. Get the powder fiber mix and take in the morning. Be sure to get probiotics each day. Your gut has good and bad bacteria. Probiotic reduces off the bad bacteria. Really very important. Take Omega 3 fish oil too. All good for health. Good luck.

Islam, DON'T do too many things at once, you will not know what is helping,.

Combatting reflux/heartburn is a long long slow tedious process - believe me.

Chopsy you are right. Its very slow.

Well I hope I will defeat it.

How long it took for you to recover ? The problem here is the doctors are also not so good,

I'll make one more comment then sign out. You are allowed meat, chicken fish but don't fry then. Bake is best. You need protein in your gut - stomach. Stay away from sodas and seltzer or sparkling waters. Eat very little sugar. Bacteria likes sugar. I agree starch is not good. Green veggies. Tomatoes are too acidic. Alcohol is not good either even wine. The yugart you eat has to be of high rate of Lactobacillus acidophilus (look on panel) to regulate bacteria in your gut. This is where most problems start. That's what I do as I described and when I started I immediately felt great. Put a small teaspoon of salt in glass of water and drink first thing in the morning. Very important. All the best. Try things. Remove what makes you feel bad. That's all I can provide. I'm just a person who has the problems too.
