I really really hope so x Trying to keep myself busy so as not to think about it because when I do I panic about going down to surgery and also those first few painful tearful weeks xBut my bag is packed and must pop my vote in before I leave for the hospital lol I expect I will be washing the results in a dugged up haze lol xx good luck to everyone on the same journey as me :-) xx

    hi vanessa,

well, the wait is almost over - it is abit ironic, isn't it ... first time I was so fearful because I didn't know what was ahead of me, and 2nd time I was freaking out because I knew what was coming ... just saying -

You are a veteran now - know the routine etc. - will compare the 2 THR surgeries even thought you are told not to - Posterior both times, so yeah, zippers oneach side of hip - If you read this before you go in, ask your surgeon

to handle you with care !!!  I did, and mine complied and I had no bruises or pain in knee -

When it is all done, you have TWO new hips - Let the healing begin ...

Good luck, have faith and know that all is well...

looking forward to your first post-op post

    big warm hug

    renee

I did the same!  Think it takes your mind off it. Also knowing you won't be able to do so much after.

You will be fine. Good Luck and a smooth recovery. Take care. XXX
