Hi all

So having realised that from last operation i may not be well enough to get dressed/underwear on for a few weeks.

Well i got dressed leaving hospital but no underwear ...lol. Had op on Wednesday 18 feb

anyway today i got underwear on felt like shouting out window but resisted!!

Small thing but makes a huge different to confidents and feeling normal again

Hi Denise!  Underwear and trousers are awkward.  However hospital gave me an implement called a "Grabber".  Like a long pair of tongs!  It is also magnetic which is handy if you drop a coin or anything metallic.  It was a revision hip op I had done.  First hip lasted 18 years.  Good news I was given is that during this op they have adjusted my leg length.  Here's hoping I get rid of limp I developed after first op.
