Yeah - it does go though. I suddenly realised mine had gone when someone was talking to my physio about her pain in the posterior.

Me? - Lateral scar with a small bag of spanners underneath it.

The feeling goes away as the scar heals. Get past two weeks and start massaging the area with a neutral cream. The worst is if you have recarro seats in the car, the sides squish the bag of spanners making you hold onto the grab handles like someone waiting for a crash!

    Don't worry, won'y be long x

Lol that made me giggle !! Mines nit under scar but in my buttock ? Is that same as what you have ? Xx

My scars are lateral - up the sides of my legs and hooking over to my bum slightly. I suppose it is what is going on under, and around, our scars wherever they are.Β

Mine both Β got particularly lumpy at about two weeks and I took to carting around a small cushion if I had to sit on a hard chair.

Oh yes, the 'sitting on a golf ball' syndrome - for all posterior THR's.

As Kate says, supportive car seats rub the scar area and cause some discomfort too. Β Like the 'bag of spanners', it has been likened to many things, golf balls, pile of rocks, and now spanners .....
