Golf ball ???

16 days since op now and it feels like I am sitting on a golf ball ?? Is this normal ?! Anyone else experienced it

    Yes, sitting and when you start to lay on your op side- then too. But it does go away with time.

    Hi

     I am 13 weeks post op and stillhave the rocks syndrome .

    I am sure it will go in time .Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease

    Yes, the old golf ball feeling, which seems to be in entirely the wrong place and not where I imagined my new ball and socket to be.  It's going away now.  Strengthen your muscles with the physio exercises- that seems to help.

    Yes ,totally the wrong place !! Mine seems to be easing - n im doing lots of squeezing ;-)

      The 'clamshell' exercise seems to be best for this - lay on side (or as far as you can get to), heels together, and raise the upper knee in a clamshell movement.  Hold, lower, and repeat.
