Morning folks :D

Just thought I would start up this popular thread once again ....... as we seem to have temporarily lost the last one :?

I am still trying to find out exactly what went wrong .... may take a bit of time, but never mind ...... we can continue our amazing postings as per usual :ok:

It's tipping it down here which makes a change, and they promise gales for this evening ... so that will be something to look forward to

Have a good day everyone :D

    Hello All :D

Well done Trees, glad we're having a party :diva: :bubbly:

Oh dear, I'm afraid the creative writing course is a no-go, although I did go!

It went on for 3 hours  and I had to ask to leave after about 2 and a half hours as I was feeling soooooo ill :weird:

It was far too much for me, lengthwise and nervous-energy wise and I just couldn't cope with it emotionally or physically. :wah:

There were only 5 others on the course and a lot of it was working in pairs (ugh); so I'm afraid I don't think I'll be going back and Trees will have the honour of continuing to be our one-and-only writer-in residence : :ok:

I'm feeling pretty ill now so will go and eat something

    Back later, I hope :run:

Thank you Katie, for deleting my duplicate post, and for your very kind words  !

Glad I'm not the only one who finds these things too much - I felt so silly leaving them all.

Still, better that than feeling even worse than I did already I suppose.

Yes, I have a horrible feeling that the thread problems may be a hacker-type thingy, not that I understand that sort of thing, or, indeed, why anyone would want to do it

Anyway, we will not be defeated and will continue regardless  :diva:

Sorry Daisy my brain is not working, I pressed the wrong button. I am sorry your course was too much for you. It's so hard for us to try to do normal things people take for advantage.

oh daisy 3 hours is sooo much!

im not surprised it was too much, 3 hours is a lot for anyone, not to mention us pacers sad

i find i can only work or do my german for very limited periods of time - 20-40 mins before i need a long break. perhaps you could find a shorter class, or even do one online?

    Evening All,

Just found my post about my G.P visit. Thanks for your replies.

My fingers started to swell last night again and they have been swelling on and off all day. They get really hot first, especially when i have been working with them.

My knees and ankles were a bit spongy too. I have my blood tests booked for tomorrow night.

Hope you are all okay :D
