Morning folks :D
Just thought I would start up this popular thread once again ....... as we seem to have temporarily lost the last one :?
I am still trying to find out exactly what went wrong .... may take a bit of time, but never mind ...... we can continue our amazing postings as per usual :ok:
It's tipping it down here which makes a change, and they promise gales for this evening ... so that will be something to look forward to
Have a good day everyone :D

I haven't got my car this week and the snow and ice and slush is making everything difficult.
Sorry, I have read all these posts and now I have forgotten what is happening with you all. it's not that I don't care, I just can't do it today.

As Teedie says, your psychotherapist surely realises that ME sufferers can't do everything to order :? There are times when we just [b:8eaa2e2cc3]can't[/b:8eaa2e2cc3] keep appointments
Hope you feel better in the morning, but if you don't, the appointment will just have to be shelved ...... surely they will understand
Teedie .... gawd that's a pain about your swollen fingers ... I guess your blood tests tomorrow will hopefully throw some light on things :?
Sorry we forgot your birthday (and your daughters) .... made a note to say a 'Happy Birthday' and then forgot  Do hope you both had a really good time :diva:
Take care everyone ..... Lou, I've been following the news too .... what a nightmare situation in Melbourne ....... and most of the fires seem to have been started deliberately Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are suffering

Only on half day today though. Is it paronoia (sp?) :weird: or is someone out to wreck our forum? Are any others affected?
Still, they wont get the better of us, we just pick up and carry on. Like Duracell bunnies :P !
Daisy, 3 hours is a lot of concentration, I struggle if our game goes to extra time :football:
Belated Birthday greetings Teedie :donut:

Oh Dale, I hate the idea of you freezing when you're at work....hope you're having lots of hot drinks :coffee:
The trouble with the course yesterday was that, not only was it far too long, but, we had to work a lot of the time in pairs and had to present our partner's work to the rest of the group
So, not only was it exhausting, it was also very nerve-wracking (for me anyway, the others didn't seem to be at all bothered by it).
I've written to say I won't be going again :?
Yes, Trees, an online course would be much better for me; but for now I'll plod on by myself (I'm trying to do a sign language course but that's just by myself so no problem :D )
Anyway, I'm still feeling very fragile and peculiar so I'll stop typing.. :weird: ..
Hope everyone has an okayish day, and Alicia, if you managed to get to your therapy session, I do hope the person was very very nice

Ooops sorry, just noticed it is afternoon, that goes to show how long it has taken to get my brain in gear today :?
Whatever the little [i:8b04728fe7]gremlins[/i:8b04728fe7] :weird: have been up to they won't stop us will they, so there. Nah, Nah, Nah :nahnah: :nahnah: :nahnah:
Having a rough day today
My poor girl :dog: needs loads of TLC so she is getting what energy I have at the moment.
She had to have an op on her foot under anaesthetic yesterday and she has had so many serious ops in her life that she now hates going to the vets so we brought her back home just as soon as she woke up which meant constant attention while she recovered :dog:
Consequently I haven't had a lot of sleep or rest :sleepy:
BUT I don't mind 'cos she is worth it :dog:  :dog: she never whines or complains just so long as she gets loads of cuddles
Thinking of you all and I hope to be back a bit later.
Take Care

Oh your poor little girl Do hope she is feeling better soon and less sore. It's awful when you can't explain to them what is happening and that you are trying to do the best for them Hopefully you will both have a better night
Dale, sorry you were so cold at work ..... I think we have all had enough of this freezing weather ... it just seems to have been going on forever ... makes getting dressed and undressed so much more exhausting
Daisy ..... the last time I had to work in pairs was on a mandatory Fist Aid course for work ..... I had only just returned from sick leave (the first time round  ) and I think my partner dispaired of me I just couldn't take anything in :? Makes you feel such an idiot doesn't it .... it's bad enough trying to sort out your own brain let alone having to interpret someone elses
Alicia, do hope you managed to make your appointment today :? I'm sure you will fill us in later when you feel well enough.
Well, I'm off to have a hot bath to warm up ...... my feet are frozen ... this is just getting ridiculous :brr:

Hope you and your brave girl have a better night tonight Kristal - I don't blame her for wanting to come home :dog: :wizard:
Yes, exactly Katie; not only could I not remember what my poor long-suffering partner had written and told me about, but also, what[b:e76fee509f] I [/b:e76fee509f]had written, made me burst into tears while I was trying to explain it to her ! :o
(as you can imagine, it was all about what I can't do... etc... blah.. etc ...blah.. )
I was[b:e76fee509f] so [/b:e76fee509f]embarrassed - everyone else was just having nice polite little chats with their partners, while I was unsuccessfully trying to stop crying :wah:
I should have left at that point probably :run:
That course should have come with a health warning

'That course should come with a health warning'  (And particularly a First Aid Course!)
(Gawd, I must learn to quote ..... Alicia has tried to teach me [b:4e34fcfae0]so[/b:4e34fcfae0] many times, but I keep forgetting  )
Sorry you ended up in tears though Daisy but I have to say I was very near to it myself so I can quite understand :wah:
Does wonders for your self confidence doesn't it
On-line courses are definitely the answer ... thank goodness for modern technology :erm:
We struggle on

Feel a bit more awake today, me and my girl :dog: had a good night sleep
She is still sleeping off her anaesthetic (always takes her a couple of days) and me because I was just plain kn*ckered
Oh Trees congratulations :towel: a real life writer in our midst, just goes to show that there is hope for the rest of us yet
Teedie, I hope your blood tests reveal some results for you :nurse:
Alicia, I hope you are feeling a bit better today
Daisy, wow I think I would have been exactly the same as you on that course. It is bad enough dealing with something that you know will be a bit of a struggle but to have to work so closely with another person (especially a stranger) would have reduced me to a jibbering wreck with zero brain power
Dale, I hope you are tucked up in the warm today :ok:
Julia & Lou, hope you are both OK and not suffering from this darned awful weather :cuddle:
Katie, you are always looking out for all of us but I hope you are giving yourself enough TLC 8)
Here's some Horlicks :coffee: and a glass of :bubbly: .... do you ever mix the two and make a cocktail
I am off to put my feet up for a bit, I have a busy day tomorrow again with my girl :dog: having a return visit to the vet and then just an hour after that I have my medical assesment for my benefit
Take care

Beautiful sunny day in the South today but still perishing
So pleased that your little girl :dog: is a little better today Kristal and hope she has a good result from the visit to the vet tomorrow. I have to round the cat up in the next week or so to take her for her injections - her legs go all sort of horizontal when I try putting her in her cat basket and the the vet has to literally shake her out of it
Horlicks and champers sounds good to me ...... will try one tonight and report back later
Hope everyone is okay and hope that we hear from Alicia soon :? And gosh, Kristal ... good luck also with your assessment tomorrow
Got to dash to have my highlights put in .... gawd, I find that sooo exhausting ... goodness know why. Keep saying I'm going to go back to my natural colour but always give in
Must fly :run:

alicia, im sorry you're having a rough time did you make your appointment?
daisy, i hope you've recovered from your epic class! i think it's really great that you tried to do it, and i dont think this means you can never do it again. maybe just that you need to see if there's a shorter one, and maybe have a chat with the teacher in advance and explain your condition?
thanks for the congrats on the paid writing everyone. it does make me feel good (which is quite rare these days! ) but as i said, i dont even know if ill be able to keep the money yet :x god knows i need it, my car tax and insurance are coming up in the same month, and i just dont want to contemplate life without my wheels! :bus:
hope everyone is doing ok today?

Glad you had a better night last night, Kristal..
I'll be sending lots of postive thoughts your way tomorrow - hope you don't have to travel too far for the medical thingy?
Just tell it like it is!! :?
Horlicks/champers cocktail sounds yummy - we won't expect very sensible posts from you this evening Katie :diva:
