Groin Pain - possibly Herpes? Don't know and really nervous

I'm not really sure if this is the place to post this, but I'm just super nervous that this might be Herpes and any help/advice provided could relieve or at least put me in a better place. Here it goes:

On March 21, a girl I never met before stayed over and while we didn't have sex, we dry humped with our underwear on (very rough and hard). She was very wet there and at one point, she touched my penis with her hands.

Fast forward to March 28th, I go skydiving. The parachute deploying really hurts my groin and I'm sore for a few days afterwards.

The week after (1.5 weeks after the girl), I start to feel a little funny in my groin area. It feels almost as if it's sort of slightly sunburned, slightly itchy, and tingly. Almost like it's raw a bit. I also had a massive headache one day that just wouldn't go away. Anyway, I go on living.

Last weekend (April 10th), it felt really tingly and burnt once when I peed. Besides that, the feeling is more soreness (in the testicles area) and it also feels like my groin has a heating pad on it...always sort of warm. This feeling has been chronic since then, but this is about it. I don't have any pain when I urinate, nor do I feel the need to urinate constantly, etc.

I went to my doctor yesterday and I told him both stories and he said that being with that girl is very low risk for STDs since there was no penetration, however, Herpes and HPV could be passed.

I'm nervous about Herpes, but besides the headache and feelings in my groin, I haven't seen any bumps, rash, or anything to substantiate that. He's testing me for syphillis however to see if something comes up. I've also had chills in my thighs, a sore throat that started today, and a feeling of cracked/rawness around my anus.

As for the skydiving, I'm really wondering if I jolted my groin into a bad place and that's what's been causing this.

In essence, this is what's been happening:

- tingly, raw, uncomfortable feeling in the crotch area (on and off)

- soreness in groin area

- headaches here and there

- slight chills in the legs those two days

- feels sore in groin when I masturbate

- burning/cracked feeling near anus

And how does one properly feel for lymph nodes in the groin? Trying to do it myself, but no idea if it's something I can really tell I have.

Sorry for the long-winded story, but if anyone has any ideas, suggestions, advice, I'm all ears - thank you!

My advice would be to speak to 'Feelbroken' on this forum who knows a lot more than most people about this sort of thing, and will give you some sensible guidance.

I have most symptoms of HSV this is them. Get tested for herpes (hsv1/2). If you irritate the sensory nerves all hell breaks loose. It feels sore and the chaffing of the shorts keeps it going. Doctors don't fully understand virus that attacks nervious system. Try some ice between testicle and groin area. Also 5 days of alpha lipoic acid. 600 mg first day 300 remaining. If it stops stop alpha. Please let know how you progress. Important not to take it long term. Ice not absolutely necessary but it may feel better.
