Had pip assessment Waiting decision

Hi,

I'm new here..I'm claiming PIP as I can't work due to my bipolar,I had the ATOS assessment a month ago and a text from DWP a week ago to say they have all they need and are making a decision,I have been beside myself with worry,anybody assure me at all that it won't be much longer?

    i first claimed PIP on Oct 10th because i have a badly damaged spine, had my assessment phone call on Jan 10th and istill havent heard a thing , no text, email or letter,

    i totally understand how your feeling the waiting for an answer is awful

      You've posted on a very old thread that's 6 years old and the last comment made on this thread before yours was 4 years ago. It took me a while to find your comment because thread has 11 pages.

      It's always better to start your own thread, especially when commenting on such an old thread.

      For you, once the report is returned to DWP a decision can take up to about 12 weeks.
