I have suffered from severe backache all weekend so when i see doc on tuesday im going to get her to see about my back i def think its not connected to my fibro so want it investigated seperataly..
john, kerri and myself went off to a market on the east coast today, was really looking forward to it but had to give up because of my back, so we just went into a place called north berwick which is a lovely little place, but over all had a lovely time.. then we had chinese for t so now im sitting here and feel like a big fat pig lol..

Sorry to hear you have a bad back. Hope you can get it sorted on Tuesday. Its difficult because any ache or pain I automatically blame in on the fibro now. Shouldn't really do that as it could be something different. Anything really serious though would get checked out.
How is John now and news from when he saw the doctor. Hope is doing ok.
I use to have chinese food but now got hooked on a mild chicken korma and rice so have that instead. Can't eat anything to spicy though.
Been lazy today sitting in the garden reading a book as the sun was out with no wind for the morning. Later in the day the wind came back again.
Going to see my sister on Tuesday in Leicester as she has just found out that she has cancer.
Take care and catch up soon.

Hope today finds you all well.
Di I hope your back has got a little better. I suffer a bad back quite often and find it gets better quicker if I try and keep moving which is shear agony but its worth it in the end.
Tess its too windy and cold to sit in the garden in Derbyshire.
This morning looks like rain.
Off to the gastro department at the hospital this morning I'm hoping this will be the last time as they can't find anything wrong. I'm also dropping a lettter in to my Rheumi consultant at the same time as I have asked some questions that I want answers to.
Always have new pains checked out as they may not be fibro. Rheumi have always got me somewhere having test to rule out anything else.
Take care all and enjoy the day.

Hope you get on ok today at gastro department. Where about are you in Derbyshire? We come to derbyshire quite a lot on different sites in our motorhome. Like it there! Nice walks but can never seem to get a good mobile signal though. Last time we came was in Buxton in September last year. We also came to Ilam on a c/l site up on top of a hill on a farmers land. Thats where we had problem with signal. Got really windy up the top and about 3 in the morning had to leave as we were right under a tree lol and that was at the end of June last year.
We have sun today but the wind is still strong and chilly.

Let you know how it goes tomorrow.
Sounds like you had a good time with all your family. It is good to catch up.

Tess I hope it all goes Ok when you visit your sister. Its not one of the best parts of Derbyshire we live about 2 miles from Junction 25 off the M1 in a village. We are on the south derbyshire border.
Hi Lindy sounds like a great day having the family round. My sister came sat to wish me Happy Birthday. Which cheered me up no end. 44 now.The wind was still blowing stong yesterday my beautiful plants kept getting blown over in the pond.
Di I hope you get on OK at the docs today and that your back is a little less painful. Last time my mum brought me one of those gel heat packs that you can strap onto your back I found that helped a lot.
I hope Ses is ok its awful having to wait so long to get anything sorted.
Linda I hope you are Ok too.
Today I've got to pop over to Loughborough to drop off some bits my daughter forgott to take back to Uni with her.
The gastro appointment went well told me I had an irritable bowel (i could have told him that 15 years ago) so he is sending me to see a dietition I'm pleased about that as hopefully it will sort out quite a few food problems. I don't have to go back. He did suggest an antidepressant but i'm not going back to GP again as I can see us falling out.So that was left open ended.
Well I had better get ready for work now.
Take care all and enjoy your day I'm not sure what the weather is like outside as the curtains are still shut hope its warm.

Hope you and your Dad are ok today, Tess and don`t find things too upsetting. Its nice that your other sister let you know how things were so you know a little what to expect.
Lizzy, I have irritable bowel too, and GP said it can be connected to the Fibro I do wonder if its an excuse just blaiming everything on our condition, but my GP is very good and will rule everything else out first before he says well think we must say its down to the fibro. I know I`m very lucky as lots of people don`t the care and concern that we get from our doctor :!:
You had a busy weekend Lindy :!: I love to see everyone, but I`m always so tired afterwards :!:
Di hope your doctor was helpful today and you get some relief for your back.
Well, its off to Mum`s again tomorrow to see the doc for all her test results, so hopefully will get some answers and help. I`m trying to take my GP`s advice and plan things to pace myself, to help with the chronic fatigue. There will be so much to do to prepare for all the work when the lift and wet room are done, so I`m trying to think ahead and get things organised. Then I can list the things that I won`t be able to manage and get Ann and Chris to help. I can see it being very stressful but worth it in the end :!:
Hope things are improving for you Ses,

Thank you everyone for thinking about me today. Saw my sister and was quite surprised how much better she was from yesterday. She was sitting up and talking for a while and then had some rest. Was good also to catch up with my three nieces and their children. Susan did look really yellow as it has spread to her liver. She did have some rest as well while we were there. Got there about quarter to twelve and left at twenty past three. Had some lunch with them. Took her some lovely flowers from us and my dad. My dad was really pleased he went to see her although the journey in the car was tiring for him.
A belated birthday to you for Saturday Lizzy. I was 53 in March wouldn't mind being 44 again lol.
Good you got on ok with gastric appt today. Like Linda says irritable bowel is listed as one of the symptoms of Fibro. I also have it as well. They probably said about antidepressant for the irritable bowel as it can help that as well strange as it seems. Also it will help you with your sleep and some pain for fibro. Might be worth seeing another dr for it if you don't like the one your with.
My son went to Loughborough Uni about five years ago and did computer management. He now works in Nottingham doing computer software support and development. What is your daughter doing at Uni?
Lindy I hope you are coping ok today and managing to get your work done. Di and Ses hope you are both ok also.
Linda hope all goes well with your mum tomorrow. Be thinking about you. Its good that you are pacing yourself for the work to be done and delegating some of the other jobs to your children. Hope Ray is doing ok as well.
Thank you all for your support and thinking of me today and my family.

Tess I'm pleased to hear the day went Ok at your sisters. My daughter is doing a civil engineering course and has also managed to get sponsorship as well which I am really pleased about. My hubby works testing computer programs in Nottingham he use to write them when he worked in Derby. I think he enjoys breaking the programs and then telling them what is wrong.
I have had a IB for 24 years but this problem is very different its not connected to food and so am struggling to get it under controll. It wasn't under controll when I was on citilopram(antidpressant) for 8 months. So now trying some horrible drink.
Linda I hope your mums test results help give some answers. Its so difficult to pace yourself when you feel well and there is so much to do.
Di I hope the doc was able to help you and that you are feeling a little better today.
Lindy hope you are well. Time has gone far too quickly this year. Even the kids are growing up quickly now.
Hope you all have a good day.

Loughborough is good for its engineering and computer courses. One of the best Universitys to go to for those. Don't like the sound of having a horrible drink ugh! Poor you.
Hope everyone else is doing ok today. No sun here today windy and now starting to rain lol :cry:When are we going to get the warmer weather.
Still got our central heating on yet!
Linda hope all went well today with your mum! Bet you are tired with the journey from Cambridge to Peterborough and back.
Keep going everyone!

So glad your visit with your sister went better than you expected, I can understand your dad being tired after, but it would be so good for him to see her.
Well, what a day taking mum to docs :!: Don`t know which doc your dad goes to Tess, but mum has been with Westgate Surgery since before I was born and lived in Cromwell Road. She also worked for one of the original GP`s for most of my childhood. It has now moved into Boots in Queensgate, well that was enough to confuse her, despite having been there twice in the last week :!: When we arrived they claimed no app had been made with GP only nurse. luckily had the app card with me so they agreed to see her but we had to wait 2hrs :!: GP is very nice it wasn`t his fault, he`s sending her to the memory clinic and they are contacting me about it so she won`t get in a muddle. I`m absolutely exausted, trying to explain everything to her and then repeating about twenty times cause she had forgotten, and worrying about Ray as we had left him at her bungalow, I`m just chilling tonight and getting a take away :!:
Sorry to ramble on, thanks for thinking of me.
Hope everyone is as ok as they can be and not in too much pain etc.

What a nightmare for you Linda! Just what you don't need on top of everything else. Was good they saw you and you had the appointment card. Not very nice waiting for two hours though.
My Dad goes to North Street surgery in Peterborough. They are not very good with sending the district nurse out after dads vein has popped. Have to keep ringing them to go out to dress it for him. He has been at that surgery since he was a young boy as well. Kept seeing the same dr who must be due to retire and not really taking much interest in him. He sees another dr now who sorts things out a bit more.
Enjoy your takeaway and have a good rest. We did that last night and had a takeaway after out trip to Leicester yesterday. Didn't feel like cooking and not cost to much now only Stewart and I.
Hope you got a day off going anyway tomorrow.

How are you all today! I hope you have better weather than I have. Its miserable and raining here. Not very nice day for the last couple of days so far. Though would rather have it miserable weather this weekend than next. We are going away to somewhere near Buxton in Derbyshire next Friday until bank holiday Monday. So hope weather is going to be kind to us this time around.
How are you Di? As John heard anything yet from the hospital. Linda I hope you are still pacing yourself ready for all the work to be done. Ses how are you haven't heard from you in a while. Lindy hope you are not getting too busy at work and managing to have some time out. Lizzy how are you with your pain and also your lupus?
I am not too bad got some more pain today but always the same when it is wet outside. Going to see a friend later in the morning and probably picking Molly up from school tonight. Depends if her dad is finished work in time. Sophies not crawling or anything yet and really wants to get moving. Think she is going to be like Molly and not crawl but go straight into walking. She doesn't like being on her tummy very much.
Well take care everyone and catch up soon.
