Wow, Lizzy you have been busy, don`t do like I did a couple of weeks ago and do too much, still paying for it. Lol
Tess, Mum was 81 last Thursday, so a bit younger than your Dad :!: Lol Going to P`boro again tomorrow as nurse from Memory Clinic coming to do an initial assessment. She phoned me on Fri to introduce herself, which was nice and I was also able to tell her lots of things in advance so she has some idea how things are.
Still suffering with IBS and headaches, saw GP on Fri and he thinks its all connected to a Fibro flare up brought on by the stress of Mum and trying to get organised for all the adaption work.
Got to take Ray for blood test now, so will catch up again later.

Hope you have all enjoyed the weather.
When I got home from work at lunch time I washed our duvet in the bath, did the ironing, finished cleaning the bathrooms and made some tea.
A friend made a comment at work today which has quite upset me. They said I've speeded up again and am I sure my thyroid is normal. This is one of my phobias as I had such a rough time with it in 2007. I can't take the meds for it and my only optition is radioiodine. Every time I have a few panic attacks on the trot the doc has to check the thyroid function as we can't tell the difference between the two. My hubby mentioned my tremmor was quite bad at the weekend too. I didn't think I was anxious about anything. But the anxiety is begining to build up now this always happens. Endo should have been more careful about what he said to me as I'm sure its going to take a long time to get rid of this phobia.
Hi Linda of course I've done too much my hip and top of my leg is agony I thought warm weather was supose to be good for fibro. I hope the nurse is of help for your mum. Wishing your mum a belated birthday wish.
Hi Tess I also wish your dad a belated birthday wish. Have a nice relaxing day.
Lindy, Di, Ses, Tess and Linda hope you have all enjoyed the great weather.
Is astro turf imitation grass if so sounds like a good idea for my garden. Just think of the time would save not having to look after the lawn.
Take care all.

It was good of the nurse to introduce herself to you Linda before you go to see your mum tomorrow. I hope she gets on ok. Did the dr give you anything for your headaches and irritable bowel. How did rays bloods go today.
Lizzy try not to burn yourself out. I can understand with the tremors as I have times like that with my thyroid. I did a silly thing when we went away last forgot to take my thyroxine. Couldn't take it for three days. Luckily think I have been ok. Thats the first and last time hopefully I shall forget it. Have had our van nearly three years now and never forgot it before.
Yes you ought to have some astro turf lizzy is like an imitation grass. No cutting the grass. My daughter's garden looks lovely. With her job she hasn't got time to mess about cutting the grass so just the job. Very low maintenance.
Hope everyone else is doing ok today and not in too much pain. Also enjoying the lovely spell of warm weather.

Hope this finds everyone well...
Think we`ve all been enjoying this lovely weather. Kinda clouded over slightly here today.
I heard on the radio yesterday that towards the end of the week, there may be chances of SNOW...on high ground. Can u believe that!
All is hunky dory here thankfully.
Catch up soon.

Glad everything is ok with you Lindy, hope your brother is well too.
I get tremors through my back and into my front, it takes my breath away, good thing it doesn`t last too long only a few minutes :!: I put it down to muscle spasm from the Fibro, never made a connection with the thyroid :!:
Well, Mum`s assessment went well, she is still at a stage where they can treat with tablets, which will help for 2/3 yrs and then it will progress again. But at least things might not get any worse for a bit :!:
When we got home got a call from our occupational therapist, all our adaptions have been passed by the panel so its just a waiting game now :!: So after my efforts ten days ago when really wore myself out, and from which I still haven`t properly recovered, I must get things organised at an even slower pace :!: Touble is I hate it when things are not sorted, so not going to find this an easy process anyway, and the more I get behind the more I get stressed out so really am going to have to think things through and take it very slowly. Know I will panic if they want to start before I get things organised. Sounds daft I know but must break the circle some how and get on with things Will have to start one of my famous lists I think :!:
Well hope things are ok with you both Tess and Lizzy. Make the most of the nice weather as I think its set to change.

I'm so pleased to hear that all the work will go ahead.I keep my fingers crossed that the tablets will help your mum.
So you get tremors with an underactive thyroid too.
I wonder if you have to hoover astro turf to keep it looking nice?
Take care everyone.

Thats good news Linda with your adaptions finally being done. Just waiting game now when. Sounds like a good idea to do a list so you don't overdo it. Its good they gave your mum some tablets. Do hope they keep her going for several years and more. How is Ray doing hope he is ok.
Lindy was good to hear from you. Are you high up near where the snow might fall lol. If so keep nice and warm.
Lizzy some people hoover the astro turf but depends it there is sand in it or not. We have got sand in ours but Claire by daughter hasn't. You can use a stiff brush to keep it looking ok. Hope you are doing ok.
