Has anybody had this ? Strange dizziness and weird feeling

Posted , 15 users are following.

I managed to pull myself together and go out ‘for an  hour’  and for ‘one drink ‘ home by 9pm as I’m screwed if I don’t go to bed early .

I got a dizziness when I arrived home that was so weird thought I was going to faint ... not like vertigo at all  . I then proceeded to feel ‘weird’ even when in bed and had to take 1/2 Xanax as was panicky . Almost like my mind had been taken over .

Wondered if anybody else had this ? Was I dehydrated or is this just another meno symptom ?

I often get this weird feeling. I move my head and it takes a couple of seconds for my brain to catch up with the movement. It makes me feel as though I’m not on the planet. Only had it since my total hysterectomy 3 years ago.

Also, I too have been sick more often since the menopause. I was rarely sick before.

    Being a a woman sucks. 🤬🤬🤬

OMG. All of the replies describe every scenario. I still have many days when this occurs. Mornings and mid-morning when I am at work, afternoons, if I'm up or out walking, evenings before bed. It used to scare me( created a lot of anxiety). I take propranolol if it's quite strong and that helps. Of course I should have known it was related to the menopause!

I had vertigo for 10 years which came about every 3 months and was more like if I turned over in bed or turned head quickly  . Then in April got a different kind of  dizziness a weird constant boat feeling . It’s subsided now but if I’m tired i get a weird heaviness in my head and like a jolt of dizziness.

That ten year vertigo sounds exactly like bppv. You can do maneuvers at home to get rid of it. Ifind the half somersault Foster is easiest.
