Has anyone else used Clindesse???

Hi so on sunday 8/18 I inserted Clindesse (the one time treatment) and since then I have been having really weird side effects and was wondering if anyone else had them too. So far I've had intense itching that's gone away, and yellow smelly discharge that started out really thick and clumpy and is now a little bit thinner and not coming out as much. I was wondering if anyone knew how long the discharge would last and if it was normal or if I needed to go back to the doctor to see if the infection is still there. Whenever I've been on other Bv treatments such as metrogel, the discharge was not like this and it's getting me worried. Any advice would be great!!!

never heard of it I dont think I've heard of it off anyone else on here .

we really are all desperate if we're trying anything like boric acid or suppositories from chemists that are suppose to clear bv but all they do is give you horrendous thrush which never goes .

I'm on black seed oil I've changed to no panty liners and no underwear in bed and using sensitive washing powder only using water and a cream to wash with and no soap in bath water.

the money I have spent is ludicrous.

I've tried boric acid before but it does nothing for me so I thought I'd give this a chance but I absolutely hate the side effects

i just tried this 3 weeks ago. i was giving it a chance since i have already tried the other antibiotics. It gave me really bad side effects disgusting discharge and irritated my whole insides and labia. I still have BV since i went back to the DR a week ago.

I've been so irritated too like the itching at first was wild and the area around has been really red even though I haven't even been itching

stephaine was it boric acid that you mean irritated you and gave you bad discharge?.

I wont risk it if so .

I'm going to try vitamin c capsules they're expensive but I'd feel better if it was vitamin c .

Thats exactly how i was very very red and it took forever for the cream to come out. I personally think it made my BV worse and hasnt gone away. I also didnt have the BV smell i never do. BUT after i used that it gave me a smell.

It was the antibiotic CLINDESSE that did. I Spoke to my Dr and shes now suggesting Vitamin C tablets 250mg for a month inserted in the vagina. She told me not to get that gritty kind like other vitamins and i can probably find it online which i did. Its very hard to get that milligram in vitamic C usually there 500mg or 1000mg. She said BV hates it and it will break down the Biofilm. So im going to try that soon and really pray that it works!
