Has anyone had Microsurgical Denervation to help with chronic testicle pain?

Seems like a better solution than removing the testicle but has potential issues given the nerves are tightly integrated with muscle, blood vessels and tissue.

Hello dear colleagues, last Thursday (3 days ago) I had botox infiltrations in both spermatic cords in Barcelona, Spain. This technique is not common here, at the moment I have not found pain relief, although it did relieve the infiltration with lidocaine one year ago. I hope that with the weeks the pain will improve. Greetings and good luck to all.

Hi, Did you have testicle and leg pain before you had the surgery?

    hello everyone,

i had MSD surgery like 5 month ago. havn't had any success so far.

apparently the doctor wasn't that aggressive with this process and i also didn't lost any sensitivity.

i would like to try it again at the international andrology london. from what i heard is that they perform this surgery.

i would like to ask if it would be possible to try to cut some more nerve fiber and maybe numb the testicle. maybe that would work.

what does it means if i didn't lost sensitivity? would i have lost sensitivity in order to make it it work?

could someone give me some advises on that and if someone was at the international andrology london, how was your experience there and how much would the surgery cost?

    thanks best regards

Hi I took my son there twice for the spermatic cord block first time it worked but as he has good and bad days they wanted to try it again to make sure it wasnt a fluke . We are going back soon to have it done again with botox .The cost of this is £2500 . Just ring and ask them the cost.I was nervous to go there at first but they have been so helpful and undrstanding .

sadly we have been badly let down by London Andrology .They cannot do the botox block in the spermatic cord .They booked us in twice we booked train tickets got all excited about getting help then cancelled the day before both times .Now they say they cannot do it at all .

      Hi

As you stated few weeks ago they did it. There must be a reason why they are not doing again.

They did the block with lynocaine but twice arranged to do the botox then cancelled on us the day before .We lost hundreds of pounds in train fares and more than that were so disappointed.

      Hi pauline:

Lynocaine is worldwide approved for this procedure. Botox is experimental and not yet approved in many countries for this particular procedure. However you have the right to know actual reason.

I am sure you already checked the refund policy of train fare . Here in Canada full refund can be obtained if cancelled before train pass.

Please keep your hope alive and strong, remedy is there, we need to find it.

I am currently recovering from spermatic denervation surgery... sadly, I don't think it worked. i still have the awful pain. This is the absolute worse thing ever. The only thing that helps is pain pills. I have to take 100mg of tramadol 2x's a day. My pain started on the right side and then also on the left over the course of a year. Absolute nightmare. Feels like my testicles are in a hot vice. Im a 31 year old former athlete. I just want my life back. If anyone has a world class micro surgeon theyd like to recommend, I'm all ears.
