Has anyone had Microsurgical Denervation to help with chronic testicle pain?

Seems like a better solution than removing the testicle but has potential issues given the nerves are tightly integrated with muscle, blood vessels and tissue.

I am currently recovering from spermatic denervation surgery... sadly, I don't think it worked. i still have the awful pain. This is the absolute worse thing ever. The only thing that helps is pain pills. I have to take 100mg of tramadol 2x's a day. My pain started on the right side and then also on the left over the course of a year. Absolute nightmare. Feels like my testicles are in a hot vice. Im a 31 year old former athlete. I just want my life back. If anyone has a world class micro surgeon theyd like to recommend, I'm all ears.

    Hi guys,

I have had testicular pain since i was 17years, now I'm 26years so approximately 9years of living in pain. In the beginning of this pain I took pain killers like ibuprofen for months and it never helped. This pain is usually dull ache in both testicles. I don't wear jeans or any tight trousers, I even avoid wearing boxers because of this pain. The pain has been constant 24/7 for 9 years. I can't sit down for more than 1 hour and I feel demotivated in doing anything. I live in Hungary and the medical system here has no idea about testicular pain. I have been trying to find where i'd get help within Europe . I've read about Microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord. I think this procedure might work for me but I have no idea where to get it done within neighbouring European country (apart from UK).

Does anyone know if the spermatic cord block reduces inflammation as well as pain? My main issue is the inflammation and scrotal tightness, I only really get pain and swelling before a bowel movement which will eventually subside afterwards but can sometimes last hours.

yes ive had denervation of left and right cord and i still suffer from pain on the left side. it seems like the only thing that work is a injection i was receiving in the groin and testicle and that only last a short while

Wow I've heard so many horror stories with the NHS is the UK. Problem is most governments can't balance a checkbook very well and reckless spending ultimately leads to bankrupt programs, which is where the NHS is headed I'm told.

That aside, I've always had an issue with both testicles doing this my entire life. Sometimes they will be hanging just fine and then vroop.. sucked up and scrotum tightens. I've also had pain in my left testicle on and off most of my life. After an ultrasound, the impression was: Left-sided epididymitis. There are findings suggestive of hypervascularity related to

portions of the epididymal tail on the left side. Epididymitis cannot be excluded.

Doctor said nothing to worry about but it can be very discomforting, especially during sex. I may look into the surgery

Hi, I have suffered from right side chronic testicular pain for 30 years. This stemmed from a Torsion of the testis operation when I was 18. I've had several operations to remove epididymal cysts and been prescribed lots of different medications. Fed up with the pain, I finally took the plunge late last year and had Microsurgical Denervation surgery which has made my condition much, much worse. The severe pain is still present and I can no longer escape it by lying down or standing. Sleeping is impossible without strong pain medication which my GP and pain specialist are reluctant to keep prescribing. The surgery was a total disaster and wish I never went through with it. I don't know what to do from here. This has basically ruined me.

    Hi Group,

I have Chronic Scrotal Pain (CSP) that has reocurred again for the third time in 30 years. How it went twice before is unknown.

I think i had denervation of spermatic cord 25 years ago however microsurgical is not mentioned in my medical records.

I need to find an experienced doctor on CSP and microsurgical denervation of spermatic cord.

My insurance does not cover the USA and can only find the subject covered in the USA.

Can anyone suggest experts elsewhere in the world and prefer Europe or Middle East?

    Thanks

You do not have to have your testicles removed, there are lots of home remedies for curing testicle pain, cold water or warm water. You could try massaging. There are oils out there that relieve pains.

Testicles should only be removed when having testicle cancer. There are always ways you can fix the problem if its not cancer. Its pain caused by infection. If it isnt infection there are remedies you could try to alleviate the pain. Massage your testicles as often as you can. If pain goes away from massaging and then doesnt return for a while then its not infection.
