Has the forum got M.E again ??

I found your article quite helpful.

I just recently had a diagnosis of CFS and did not believe or understand what it was about. It is good to know in your article that may there be some options and support to improve this condition. It is also helpful to know there are books or organisations that may be good for me during this period. I have found that doing a little bit of excercise make me tired but helps me to avoid depression or feeling part of the community.

Please wish your mother all the best in her new home. I hope she soon settles in and really feels 'at home'.

Katie, so long as you don't slobber and drool whilst I am doing your massage. MD really goes all unnecessary so it must be soothing his paws. He hasn't chewed them at all today. :D

I actually hadn't noticed Sian's waist ... I'm always fascinated by her [b:cfe25d97db]huge[/b:cfe25d97db] mouth

Sorry Sian ..... hope you don't ever look in to this forum

What is it about weather forcasters and being pregnant?

And we've got to watch Holly on 'Skating on Ice' get more humungous every week :yuk:

Is that a real word, or have I just made it up

Think I may have got my Sian's confused

Thanks for your good wishes for my Ma girls :ok:

No, promise I won't slobber, drool or go all unnecessary Alicia  Wasn't that Hilda Baker? I used to pull my residents legs when they had TIA's or funny turns and tell them they had gone all unnecessary on me ... always made them feel better immediately smile

Right, going to have a hot bath now as freezing and then watch Corrie :D Do hope Deidre doesn't open another can of leek and potato soup for philandering old Ken  It's enough to send any man into the arms of another woman :yuk:

Oh Teeds, that's a pain sad

Yes, you definitely need to have the inflammatory bloods tests repeated ... that's a perfectly reasonable request .... and then go from there :?

My joints are painful at times but I have never had any form of swelling.

So RA really does need to be ruled out ..... let's hope it's not this but at least there are some forms of treatments available.

Take care Teedie and big group hug coming up

Yes, Katie, I'm on BBC1 not ITV weather

Oh good - the ads are saying \"No more bloating and Gas\"

Obviously they have diagnosed Sian's problem

    Hi Teedie smile

You should definitely ask for new blood tests to be taken, if you feel that something isn't right - whether it gets you anywhere is another matter entirely

When i was going backwards and forwards to the hospital before being diagnosed with CFS/ME and Fibromyalgia, Polymyalgia rhuematica and Rhuematoid Athritis was mentioned too. RA was ruled out by a Rhuematologist thankfully, however i was told by one doctor that i had Polymyalia. When i said that i'd also been told that i had fibromyalgia he said it was the same thing (which i now know it is not  )

Personally, my symptoms seem more relevant to PR than fibro and i have very much the same symptoms as you have described, however i've not had very much swelling :? But as you so rightly said - it is all [b:b46efe6e64]very[/b:b46efe6e64] confusing

Good luck with your appointment on Friday and keep us posted as to how you get on

Katie, Am i missing something, but Corrie isn't on tonight - well not in Scotland anyway

Thanks all for your great support as usual

I definitely will discuss with my G.P. I read up about PR but doesn't sound like me, it also says it can start in your 50s  Not quite there yet but feel like it, mind you

It's just interesting how for my 1st year in illness i have had either painful or stiff joints or both. For those last 3 months it was there but not really a problem.

I would just like to see a rheumatologist just to rule these things out.

My shoulder is also affected and i have limited movement. It feels like the tendons or ligaments are affected also.

If i were a horse they would shoot me

    Hi Katie smile

Unfortunately with the car, the part that needs replacing requires specialist tools and it also has to be re-coded, which can only be done in an Audi garage (great isn't it)

If this hadn't of been the case, hubby would of been able to fix it himself smile

    Its all so frustrating sad

He's taking it in tomorrow morning to confirm the diagnosis and then we will have to decide what to do with it :? I'm still desperately hoping they'll say its something else and that it'll only cost £50 to replace (and there goes another flying pig)

    Hi Teedie :D

    They couldn't shoot you

Re: the age for PR - I also thought that i was way too young but then i've since found out that there are people in there 20's who have also been diagnosed with this condition (yet another illness that the medical profession don't know much about  )

Don't rule it out just yet - i have researched it on the internet and have read the PUKE PR forum and it is a real eye opener

Sorry Julia  forgot you were younger than me

Maybe try that forum and have a wee peek

Oh Julia I don't envy you.

I do wish your car could get fixed cheaply, but if you've got luck like me then there goes the flying pig
