I have a very bad prolapse and could not continue use of pessary (ring) because it caused pain and bleeding. I tried 2 different sizes. I can't have surgery because my husband has parkinsons and so I have to do lifting of the wheelchaie ( when he needs it) and help him get out of bed. My friend had the surgery and her doctor told her she has a 20 lb weight limit forever. So I use a V-brace ( by You-Babe) which helps tremendously. Don't leave the house without it.

In the last few hours I have developed also what I think is nerve pain in my leg as have a newly fitted pessary.  It came on all of a sudden.

Reading your message I realised the similarities.

Seeeing nurse this morning who fitted pessary so will ask her if that's what is  causing  my new pain.

This forum is so helpful and I am pleased that I have joined it.
