Hi for the last few months I have been suffering from various conditions it feels like every week I'm going to my GP with different symptoms, it started with the following:

Abdominal pain

Pelvic pain

Bloating

Dizziness when walking

Shortness of breathe

Eyesight worsening

Chest pain

I have now been suffering with

Chronic lower back pain

Chronic neck pain

Severe headaches

Difficult sleeping

Extreme exhaustion

And I have suffered with IBS and depression for many years. I don't really suffer with muscle pain.

I am currently off work as I was in so much pain and just couldn't concentrate so any help or advice would be appreciated. I have had pelvic and abdominal scan, urine and blood tests that all came back clear. I'm going back to GP on Monday.

Pycnogenol and or Grape Seed Extract has been short of a miracle for me and the body issues and I'm taking it since 1995, so 19 yrs this month....

If one takes a pharma blood thinner, then CAUTION, one should not take both.

      Hello Joy,

Would just like to ask, how do you take the Grape Seed Extract, and the dose? I have seen it in capsules 50, 100 and 200mg, is this what you take? Love that you have worked so hard to find natural remedies.

      Take care, Anne

Anne, I take 200mg two times per day, morning and late in day. I weigh about 160 lbs plus or minus, so I know one needs to take enough for their body weight. A very thin person can do well with 100mg per day...

We can't take too many antioxidants, I take others as well, like Vit C and some specific for eye health, btw: grape seed ex is good for eyes and gums.

My big horrible issue is a mess from hip replacement in 2010 and left with shorter leg and hence advancing arthritis due to this....Otherwise I'm healthy as a horse..manage the pain I'm left with..

I LOVE the alternative world of healing. Good luck and remember if you take a drug blood thinner then you can't take grape seed ex, it's one or the other.

    Hello Joy,

Thank-you. I have just gone out and bought some, so will give them a go, see what happens. Also bought some magnesium, as some people seem to think this is good also. What do you think?

    Take care, Anne

Anne, magnesium is critical and I've been taking it for many years....now take close to 1500mg spread thru the day...I like mag citrate or mag glycinate or mag malate.....oxide is the least best mag.

      Hi

I'm 46 and constantly tired, I don't want to do anything, even washing the dishes hurts my back so much I have to sit down. I work in an office so spend most of the day sat at my desk which gives me terrible neck and back pain, I'm currently off sick and my GP is doing loads of tests but not for Fibro yet. I'm due back at work on Monday and absolutely dreading it, it's embarrassing listing all the symptoms when people ask what's wrong with you.

Constantly tired is certainly a symptom of sluggish thyroid, I've there with this one....many docs don't give us the proper help we need with thyroid help.

      Adrenals are important TOO.

Hormones are overlooked by conventional MD's so much....I take DHEA for over 15 yrs and my integrative MD first testd me for this issue. As we age our DHEA levels drop. Read up on DHEA online.

My back issues are osteoarthritis....FM is usually nerve and muscle pains.

We can't depend on the docs, we have to do so much of our own work and hear what others say too....and then do the research.

My opinion is that ALL docs should be integrative MD's but that is SO FAR from the case....very very sad.
