    Hi, Bee 70,

I'm on the low side myself so know what your saying.Days like this, you

Just don't know what to do with yourself. I want to cry one minute and

hide myself up the next. Sometimes I feel like screaming although I

never do. I was told yesterday that my working days are over as the

fibro etc has got really bad....not so happy about that. Is there maybe a hobby that you could do if only to take your mind of it for a while. Today is a "sod it" day.so been curled up since this afternoon. Its laughable

A really. I used to have duvet days with my kids when they were small, now I

have bl***y sod it duvet days!!

Keep your chin up hun know its hard but thinking of you.

Hiya..Macvee..it's almost like grieving when you have to give work up...but you will find heaps to occupy your time I'm sure..half full glass and all that..as much as I don't like to let Fibro beat me..it feels like it sometimes...the battle does rage on..but if we stay positive enough, we have won the war...have a lovely day Macvee, be blessed...:-) xx

Hi Macvee, I feel for you, have been there myself.  I was told my nursing days were over after 36 years, as my safety, and that of my patients, was being compromised, due to FM and arthritis. I was able to then take on a part time post as ward clerk in the same small hospital, which worked out well, but was only a temporary post, covering maternity leave. I had quite a lot of time off sick during my year's contract, including the past 6 weeks which takes me to the end of my contract. I am no longer able to work. I used to work Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday and Friday, and would then spend most of the weekend asleep. I will be claiming ESA on April 1st. I am glad not to have to struggle with it any more, and at home I can pace myself more easily. I really appreciate being able to just look at blue skies, and listen to the birds. I wish you luck. xx
