Having CT scan on Tues, terrified they will find cancer..

Hi all,

Haven't written in awhile.  I suffer from anxiety about my health alot.

i am 52, I am a smoker,very little alchohol.   they found spots on my liver through an ultasound and now i have to have a scan in 2 days to see whats going on.  i am terrified they will find i have lung cancer and also bone cancer i do have a wet coughin the morning.  This consumes my thoughts and drives me crazy.   Does anyone else feel this way sometimes,  Thanks.

    I worry about my health too. I have learned to cope by keeping busy and thinking I need to focus on one day at a time. I'm sorry this is happening to you. Its normal to feel the way you do. Think positive and take it one day at a time. I was diagnosed with Lypus, Fabromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis and bipolar. Despite all of it, I live a normal life and try not to think of my diagnosis. However, I have times where I'm terrified. I will have you in my prayers and write if you need to. It certainly helps me to talk about what's going on in my life.

    My sister has spots on her liver but they are harmless.

    If you have cancer you will probably be losing weight.
