Having internal body vibrations/buzzing.

I've been experiencing these body vibrations/buzzing for about 2 months now. It started out mostly at night waking me up between 1am to 4am..if I try to sleep through it it gets worse and even into my head. I've had several really bad mornings where its been so bad I get out of bed in a panic wondering what is wrong...of course this has lead to very little sleep the last couple months. Lately it goes on all day too. At night I can "calm" it with a glass of wine but only to wake up vibrating again. I've been taking anxiety meds and they have no effect. Tried muscle relaxers and they have no effect. I've changed my diet and taking vitamins with no effect. I'm 50 years old and pre pausel as I've had on full period I'm 7 months. Im so tired of dealing with this. Anyone else having this same thing? If so what have they done about it?.I have a doctors app. in two days.

I've had two MRIs. One of my head and one of my spine and two separate neurologists has said there are no signs of MS or Parkinson's..

I started with these in May as well. Had started skipping my periods in February and had it again in July. Figured menopause as I'm 54. I then had a heart workup all good, using Chiropractor and accupuncture, no relief. I have been to 2 Rheumotologists as my ANA came out positive through further blood work, which means an autoimmune disorder. Both doctors say NO. I did see that these symptoms seemed to get better for maybe a few weeks and now they are back daily. My feet especially are vibrating, feeling of going to sleep but don't and my hands as well. The one foot is starting to ache. I have these vibrations throughout my entire body. Although they are present most of the time, Night is where they are most present when you lay down, I can really feel them. Sometimes I look and see if I can see them on the outside, but I can't see any outward shaking.
I thought it was my thyroid. We changed medications and reduced some. I did see the palpatations and rapid heartbeat go away, but the vibrations remain a mystery. Its driving me crazy as the feeling is unsettling and the doctors that I have seen, kind of look at you. They have never heard of this???? I'm going to have my thyroid retested and have another workup and then I want a brain scan. I am doing nerve testing in 2 weeks as well. I guess we know we aren't crazy, they all think its anxiety, but I wake out of a sleep with these vibrations. So, it doesn't make sense. I'm going to try my best to do some clean eating and keep it simple, protein, veggies and fruit. I want an answer and feel a little hopeless. Nobody understands how you feel and what you are going through as they don't see this. Anyway.....

I have seen 2 neurologists both of which seen nothing on the MRIs..one of them does want to do the nerve testing but I'm holding off on that since it's really expensive and can show a condition called dysautonomia.. I've done the cardiologist, an electrophysiologist, 2 neurologists, the ophthalmologist, an ENT, the regular doctor, an acupuncturist, even had VNG testing with a physical therapist..Have had all sorts of bloodwork.. this last round did find that my thyroid level was really high so my medication has been bumped backup.. unfortunately when this all started my level was normal... I am now seeing a chiropractor who did x-rays and did say that my neck is out of line and says I could possibly have a pinched nerve somewhere in there... I am now going to try as supplement that my company manufactures that is supposed to help with your neurological system in your immune system and keeping everything healthy.

Let us know if supplements work.
I have found the cryotherapy helps my fibromyalgia. I think the fibro myalgia is coming from a source bothering the nerves. There’s a reason for it.

WOW! you have been through a lot. It's so frustrating. I hope that with the chiropractor, they can determine if that pinched nerve is the culprit to all of this. I have not had x-rays, but do receive treatment. I just canceled the nerve testing as the GP said the same thing, think of yourself as a car and you are have a transmission issue. All that will do is say yes , but you have to fine tune and figure our what is causing the issue. UGH, I called an endocrinologist today...He can see me as a new patient in February of 2019...I said I might be dead by then. So, I'm hunting for that as well and I'll suck it up and go to the psychiatrist and see what they have to offer. I have to have an ultrasound and go from there. Good Luck !!
