Having internal body vibrations/buzzing.

I've been experiencing these body vibrations/buzzing for about 2 months now. It started out mostly at night waking me up between 1am to 4am..if I try to sleep through it it gets worse and even into my head. I've had several really bad mornings where its been so bad I get out of bed in a panic wondering what is wrong...of course this has lead to very little sleep the last couple months. Lately it goes on all day too. At night I can "calm" it with a glass of wine but only to wake up vibrating again. I've been taking anxiety meds and they have no effect. Tried muscle relaxers and they have no effect. I've changed my diet and taking vitamins with no effect. I'm 50 years old and pre pausel as I've had on full period I'm 7 months. Im so tired of dealing with this. Anyone else having this same thing? If so what have they done about it?.I have a doctors app. in two days.

Hideous. Always happens when I have been asleep.
It's stressful but not CAUSED by stress, in my opinion, so anti-anxiety meds don't help. Agree with others who mention gut health. Pretty sure it's something to do with an immune response/ inflammation, which is very hard to uncover as there is not one specific test.

Internal vibrations are a serious problem which often seem mysterious, and people suffer dreadfully with it. It comes on without prior signs and can be very disruptive to life and sleep.
I have suffered with it continuously for much of last winter even though I don’t use or drink any stimulants. (In fact, I thought for many months that it must be something external in my apartment building causing it, but no one else felt it.)
A neurologist then diagnosed it as being neurological in origin, with the brain sending out excess electrical signals to my body, and prescribed gabapentin to reduce this.
The gabapentin has helped greatly in dealing with this problem and also quickly restored my ability to sleep. It feels like it saved my life.
So do please see a neurologist if you are suffering with a regular feeling of internal vibrations.
Please post this on your forum, it could help many others who are in great distress.

Hi Kay and everyone reading with the same issue!
Please get the GENETIC TEST to see if you METHYLATE B12 and FOLATE! I had the same buzzing issue. I had an experience where I felt led to a particular doctor, who by happenstance thought to order the genetic test about methylation of B12 and folate. Sure enough, I only have one of the two genes! I've been doing research on this type of anemia, and it can cause nervous system issues (among many other issues!)! I'm so hopeful that in a month from now, I'll be doing a lot better in this area. I can't believe I've lived 40 years without knowing this about myself. I'm so relieved that the treatment is to get methylated B12 and folate supplements! So can do! I'm full of hope. Sharing with you all -- this is one to try!
