Having internal body vibrations/buzzing.

I've been experiencing these body vibrations/buzzing for about 2 months now. It started out mostly at night waking me up between 1am to 4am..if I try to sleep through it it gets worse and even into my head. I've had several really bad mornings where its been so bad I get out of bed in a panic wondering what is wrong...of course this has lead to very little sleep the last couple months. Lately it goes on all day too. At night I can "calm" it with a glass of wine but only to wake up vibrating again. I've been taking anxiety meds and they have no effect. Tried muscle relaxers and they have no effect. I've changed my diet and taking vitamins with no effect. I'm 50 years old and pre pausel as I've had on full period I'm 7 months. Im so tired of dealing with this. Anyone else having this same thing? If so what have they done about it?.I have a doctors app. in two days.

My vibrations feel like in my spine. I only feel it at night, not sure if I'm missing it during the day because im so busy or what. I've been given a sleeping pill which keeps me from waking up from them. I know I'm just putting a bandaid over the problem but it works until there is a verdict on what it is.

      Hello Tina,

I just joined this group and I am not sure how this works, but I too have serious vibration. My masseuse can feel the electrical vibration as well. Of course, the doctors can’t. I’ve had two neck surgeries and we are trying to figure out what is causing it, since the surgeries went fine.

Have you had any surgeries? Have you tried an ATLAS chiropractor (they are not a regular chiropractor)? Do you have ringing ears? Have you seen a TMJ doctor?

So far we have found that my atlas doesn’t stay on (it’s the top bone of the spine that’s inside the head). I now have severe TMJ (atlas can fall off from TMJ and vice versa). My atlas chiro took a digital movement of head and sees that the C3 ligament is sliding. This may be part of the problem, effecting everything. I will find out Tuesday from a doctor in Colorado who does stem cell therapy.

I guess you should make sure you look at all avenues and not wait. I sleep and hour and a half at a time, unless I take sleeping pills, but that I have other issues. I’ve become disabled from this. So please continue and don’t put off. It can get worse. Atleast it did for me.

And yes hormones can cause problems as well. Keep me posted

Oh my...so glad I found this thread. I kept blaming it on EMF sensitivity, and slowing making changes in my home,  but I bet it is hormone related. Did anyone come up with a homeopathic, Essential Oil or Bach Flower remedy? I'll also try to do more research but let me know! I am not sleeping enough and waking almost every night between 2 and 4 am.

Hello! I’ve had this same buzzing feeling for about 8 months now! I’m 53, so, at first, I thought it may be my body trying to adjust to the changes in hormone levels. But it hasn’t gone away. It’s most noticeable in my left arm and feet, but sometimes I feel it everywhere! It started at night only but, now I can feel it almost always.  My primary care physician told me that I just have to ignore it! (He didn’t know what was causing it). That’s easy for him to say...  Please let me know if you have found anymore information on this strange symptom. I hope so!!

No more info yet but I will post when I do. I am focusing on Vit D, hydration, time outdoors and less time on the computer. We'll see what that does!

When you get this feeling in your head, do u feel kinda out of it? Like your in a fog or something?

Yes, I am a slow thinker. It’s like the brain is in slowmo in processing. Is there a way to talk to you on the phone? Are you on messenger? I could get you my phone number to talk

yes, like woozy or disconnected and floating. I'm told its hormones. i hate the feeling. scary beyond anything I've ever had. the weird skin feelings, muscle aches, ANXIETY too much. I'm not sure how much longer I can do this.

Vitamin D deficiency might actually be a cause, I recently had blood work come back that my Vit. D was low again. I also have been dehydrated lately and that might contribute. I'm not sure why it would always be the left breast though and it is only when I am laying on my back.

I take a D suppliment once a week. Wish that was it. Thank you for your feedback. thinking about trying some CBD oil. The xanax doesn't seem to help anymore and just want to get off all the prescription dope.

Vit D deficiency and dehydration are definitely my issues too! I am trying to be better about both. Also started taking Green Pastures cod liver oil when I take Vit D at breakfast and dinner. Will let you know

By any chance were you taking cod liver oil when this started happening?  I had a terrible reaction to that. Low heart rate. POTS- positional hypotension. And other stuff. Low potassium. Since going off cod liver oil my symptoms that I mentioned above vanished. I don’t have any vibration feeling. I came here for my mom who does terribly. She also has low Vit D and low potassium. I’m seeing that a lot.

POTS- is not a positional hypotension. It is a debilitating syndrome when your heart rate increases upon standing, but BP remains normal, you also have blood pooling, hypovolemia and other symptoms.

Interesting about cod liver oil. I suspect that I feel different when I take it, but can't blame it on oil with 100%.
