Head pains, temple pain, feel like face is drooping pressure in head??

Been having these pains for nearly a year now, struggle with day to day things some days. Seems to come on mainly when I'm relaxed or laying in bed? Forehead feels numb and fuzzy, a lot of temple pain feels like someone is constantly pushing on it, pain in the back of eyes and tingling sensation in head build up of pressure and sharp stabbing pains in my head. I keep thinking of the worst like I've got some brain tumour or something! Been to doctors and they've put it down to anxiety and I've been on a few different type of medication but doesn't seem to help much? Anyone else got these same sore of problems!

no don't assume the worst like a brain tumor, but if you're worried go to GP and ask for some tests to be done... Well yes it might be due to your anxiety, but not all anti-depressants or drugs prescribed from a doc will work straight away for everyone, plus all side effects, consider if it'r really worth taking it (side effects of coming off different drugs too). There are natural ways that you could try for your anxiety perhaps, also exercise (increases serotonin in your brain biggrin, drink water! Thinking about brain tumor too much will make you even more worried that there might be something wrong.

Thanks for the reply 👍🏻 And yeah I know it's hard not to though, when the pain gets so strong! I go to the gym abit but when Ive finished work it's like my body is telling me to go home and not go to the gym. Feels like I'm at war with my own mind! I'll try not to think of BT, I'm going to go back to doctors and see if they will run some more tests for me. Cheers ??

Yes I believe is hard not to when the pain gets strong, and yes good that you're going back to the doc to have some more tests done and the thought of going hope that it put your mind at ease and you'll worry less about the BT! Re gym possibly your body tells you to go home, because you're tired after work, but brain could use serotonin so maybe go few times a week? Slowly step by step smile take care

I have all the same symptoms from my anxiety. The pressure in head is called a tension headache and the biggest relief for that for me has been to always make sure

My shoulders are down and my posture is good! Also chiropractor!

Thanks for the reply ??Well that's made me feel abit better knowing someone has the same symptoms not that we deserve to have this! Yeah my doctor told me the same and told me to do some yoga. I get a lot of neck strain and tightness so it's maybe that that's causing the pain I don't know. Just a horrible feeling tbh!!

Hi Reece yes I have been experiencing these same symptoms from my anxiety for almost 2 years now I've had MRIs of my brain and head. Here are a list of my symptoms

Weird headaches that are hard to explain

      Tightness in my head

      Scalp soreness

      Tingling in my head

Feeling like something is crawling under my scalp

Sharp shooting temple pains and head pains

      Ear pains

      Forehead pins

Pain behind my eyes and nose shoulder and neck pain like a pinched nerve

And the list goes on and the are only the head pains I get I didnt even mention the other pains I get throughout my body long story short the MRIs came back clear and all the blood work came back clear Dr says I'm healthy with health anxiety if that makes since lol anxiety I very scary but hang it there it will get easier to deal with but doesn't really go away permanently . I myswlf fought through it for years now without any meds. I'm here if you want to talk you can also p.m. me

now is not able to talk or walk now all this just made me think all this crazy stuff that im gonna die of something or get killed in a acccident. Its just make me think crazy stuff. I dont prefer taking meds unless you literally can't cope with it at all. I didnt take meds but let me tell you I fought a very very tough fight with my anxiety and I'm still battling it daily just dealing with it a little bit better then when I first discovered it. And yes I go through similar things as you every time someone close to me dies I think I'm going to die soon or someone close to me will die anxiety makes people think they are impending doom and thats what drives me crazy along with all the scary unexplainable sensations AND symptoms that I get on a daily basis

Yeah I get ALL those symptoms too! I've been to

The hospital so many times because of the pressure and pains in my heads and eyes and temples. I also get tingly/numbing feeling on and off in my face/jaw.... let night it was in my chin lol weird. But there is a website called anxiety centre

And it has a list of all the anxiety symptoms and explains them and why we get them. It helped me so much! When I saw all my symptoms listed I started to be able to except that it's anxiety. And like I said with the head pains and pressure watch your shoulders makes sure they are always down. It has changed my life. I almost never get head pressure anymore because it is caused by the tension in your neck and shoulders. Also get some lavender epsom salt. It's for relaxations for the muscles and it's great for anxiety. I take a hot bath and soak in it and listen to calming music on my phone and that's helps a lot too!
