head pressure and temple pain

Had a tia three months ago since then extreme temple pain and vein growing from temple into cheek area pressure points on top in back of head can anyone relate or could something else be wrong

    If you have had any problems with your vision you need to see a doctor right away.  If it is giant cell arteritis you could lose your sight.

      I have had blurry vision trying to get my dr.to refer me to new neurology dr.but he says not good to switch in middle of the game.but i kept going to e.r. and when they talk to my neuroligist they wont run any additional test starting to get real scared because its getting worse .

      No.  GCA is treated as seriously as a stroke or heart attack.  I don't want to scare you.  But you should, no matter what, go to see a doctor.  My eye doctor told me if I had symptoms I should go to the emergency department of the hospital.  They give you a massive dose of prednisone and that usually stops the disease right away, but it has to be caught at once.  I have a related disease called polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) but fortunately I haven't had any signs of GCA.

      Thank you trying everything to get tests run i dont understand i have great insurance if a dr.ordered them my insurance would cover them.thank u so much for pointing in a couple directions i can check.when i get new dr.i will for sure mention those options cuz i had no clue just know something is not right
