hey as anybody got health anxiety out there?? i am sooo sick of it... really need to go to the doctors again as i am not well and in pain but just cant find it in me to go as i am TERRIFIED !!! anybody else been in this situation? jas x

    Hi , yes I too suffer from pretty bad Health Anxiety, lasting over 1 and a half years now.....too many doctors appointments, tests, physical symptoms and never been in any danger, yet my health anxiety keeps me in that state of mind that needs reassurance of my safety....cannot move forward with my life and I have real phsyical symptoms everyday throughout the day without much restbite....I suffer now from some form of dizziness/unsettled feeling in my head/eyes as well as headaches....doctor confirmed Stress and Anxiety related only and some lower ab discomfort,....cant call it pain, ultrasound and bloods show nothing to worry about....yet doctor is confused by me so said if pains continue and don't get better, go see specialist and get colonoscopy....not the best way to treat a health anxiety sufferer....so thats on my mind now....overall....we all have to somehow co-exist wth our fears and try to reduce the impact that fear has over us.,...I just wish I knew how smile

      its an awful thing health anxiety.. i have had it all my life.. and have no control over it.. i am currently trying cbt.. see if that helps.. some people say it does others say it doesnt.. so i shall have a go..xx
