Heart palpitations

hi everyone. for the last few months I've been getting what's like heart palpitations. it feels like a change of rhythm in my heart or that it skipping and beat. I went to my gp today and I am having an ecg done on friday but i cant stop worrying. very scared. I'm on 20 mg of prozac at the moment aswell and my gp . rarely prozac can cause a change of rhythm in the heart and I'm terrified. anyone have any experience of this ?

    HI ALL

    I have severe anxiety!! Had these palpitations for many years. when I eat too much sugar Iam worse. of course the higher the anxiety goes the worse the skipped heart beats are, and then panic sets in. Iam almost 70 years old. ,, I have Trigeminal Neuropathy. Teeth , mouth, and head pain constantly. The depression is overwhelming. I take Lyrica for the nerve pain. It helps, but my left leg has nerve damage from having had the shingles, so I hobble around. Not much control over the leg., very scary and depressing.
