I'm not sure if it it the same thing, but I suffer with SVT and have done for about 7 years. I am 51 now so believe it started when I started perimenopuse. How old are you? How fast is your hear rate?

Hi almee, most people get heart palpations I'm one of them it races pounds flip flop and flutter, when it does it feels horrible..they usual go and come, I remember the very first time I had one it woke me out of sleep and was racing and I had shooting pain to the head it was scary then now 8 years on no sign of disappearing yet..but they are normal you will be fine.

Magnesium Citrate, between 200 and 400mg daily. Whatever you buy don't get Magnesium Oxide - it doesn't absorb into the body so is pointless!

If you have tummy issues, consider magnesium oil as an alternative. It's magnesium in distilled water and sprayed directly on skin. It absorbs through the body but does not take the route through the stomach. It's great for achy places as well as a great way to get magnesium. Here in the USA, you can find magnesium oil spray in health stores. If you are elsewhere, I'm assuming it would be the same. It works wonders for me.
