Heaven ~ Hell ~ where does purgatory fit in?

Posted , 6 users are following.

We've discussed in quite detail about that "afterlife" and I'd like to go back and forth if you will join me.  I have a puzzling question that's been with me since as far back as I can recall.

If some say there is a heaven and a hell, are we in purgatory?

sorry you're having a bad day, Marey!  Hang in there as it always seems to get better.

I feel we've lost touch with this discussion and I've found another similar one that lingers on my mind and has for years.  Perhaps we can all start over. I cherish those who placed their experiences and observations and call to those to join in once again.

      Warm regards,

    TO LES

Hello les...I've started a new block for you down here so it will be easier to follow your particular perspective. Thanks for the explanation. So do you think that your brother was somehow creating his own purgatory here on earth?

Is this not an open forum anymore?  Just curious

oh this was just to help Les who was getting lost in the long block thread so I thought i'd pull him out so he can get replies in one place where he can see them.

      Hiya all.

I'm back again - a few days rest, was needed. This morning it my wife and myself well over an hour to just get up!! Back pain was really bad, so trying to get in a position to sit up, was a nightmare. Being disabled can really get a person down, eventually got up, had my breakfast then off to the local community center to have our Flu Jab, so that's over and done with for another year.

I just seen "The Theory of Ever" advertised, on a website, in a way it made me think, its based on my theories. Many people ask me if I have MS, but when I say no its "Generalized Dystonia", they look puzzled. Many people ask me what it's like, or this morning it was a nurse that asked me if I had other injections recently, when I said Botox. They ask loads of questions, lol - Well, the flu jab is nothing compared to Botox, which is injected into spasming muscles which have seized up, so they are hard and are noticable - its like having cramp in the neck and shoulder muscles all day, every day. I maybe able to work out quadratic equations, but that does not help me, obviously I can show my daughter how to apply numerous mathematic formulaes.

And, I done it again! lol  Off subject - a mental issue! or the medication talking.

      Regards,

      Les.

      Hi Les,

I am glad you are back. You were also asnwering a question as to your absense. We all get concerned at absenses. Illness can be unpredictanle. With politeness covered we can refocus on Purgatory. I am drafting a note just now. All you guys have made me think.

So, I ask again, are we in purgatory?  Have we been sent back to make amens with our nemisis in a prior life or what.  I'm hoping this will stay on tract and we can all actually let go of some inner beliefs.

    I appreciate everyones input!

      Hi frustrated,

(The system swallowed my first effort. So this is my second effort. Why is a second efort more trouble and less good?)

I have been quite attached to the idea of Purgatory being this uncertain troublesome world. However, I see that there is a logical problem for me. If this world is Purgatory, then however many iterations there may have been, there must have been a first. But if it is the first I cannot have done anything wrong and so I am ineligible for this world / Purgatory. I conclude then that this world is not purgatory although it must certainly seem like i all too often.

I am quite enjoying my life so maybe I'm not in purgatory...but I am learning valuable lessons

I don't believe living in "purgatory" one has to have a horrible life.  I, also am enjoying my life but that doesn't mean I wasn't sent to "purgatory" to learn some final lessons.  You may not recall your first, second or possible third life, many don't.  I'm just saying there is way too much suffering on this earth for it to be anything but.  Just saying'

This will probably be  close to my last post and I fear I will come back once again to "learn" once again.  I am...so sorry.

I once was told by a wise old sage that heaven, hell and purgatory are stages we go through in our mortal life and looking back in a way I would have concurred with that had it not been for my near death experience.

When I reached the gates I was not allowed in I think we all know what would have happend had I done so the question I asked of God made me change my life beyond measure, I did note in this string someone asking me was it not Jesus who did the intermediatry work in a way we were not actually to speak to God face to face but that person failed to remember the Trinity God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and in your last remarks yes I do think we all are going through different redemtion stages to me that is what life is all about.

Hi Kate I do believe in the De Ja Vue experience plus some wierd happenings I experienced in my early life one thing I have always been called Ant but never Peter.  Ok experience one I was a ball lightening I face my mother and then blackness for a while with a crushing sensation as if I was coming out of a restricted tunnel then bright light.  Next when I was about 3 I thought I could walk on duck weed and nearly drowned later in life a young lad of the same age called Ant also drowned and perished in the same beck I even traced his grave in the cemetary records he was born 100 years before me, in the family house I was always seeing ghosts having experiences of DJV even to the point that I knew a baby had been burried under the living room floor in front of the hearth, and yes there was a baptimal record of a girl that would have been the same age.  Next one creepy night I woke to see a circle of light with the hand of a surgeon holding a scalpel two days later I had emergency surgery to remove my appendix and it get creepier from there I only came to this conclusion we all must have been born before and in that life we all made mistakes met violent ends and died to soon to make reparation for our trangsgresions I even add clergymen into this equation as in my mind few have falled short of the grace of god and we all know of the shenanakins of some Catholic fathers.  The ball lightening was verified by my grandmother and midwife later on I was born in one of the worst thunderstorms York ever had.  As for the childs skeleton that was backed up by the midwife's great grandmother who had delivered the girl and the girl just disapeared 3 years later.  The boy who drowned is burried in a paupers grave at the parish church.  But the next house we moved into was one that blasted my senses away I had DJV experiences there the whole house was a receptor of sorts when I found the original owner she told me she had a son who died of perintonitis after his appendix burst he was effectionally called Ant because of his size and his love for work in helping his father on the family's business coal sales, I also had some nasty experiences in that house later I found the upper 3 of 4 rooms had been used as a morgue a house opposite had taken a direct hit from a german bomb there was no warning and they think he was offloading to make his plane lighter so he could make a swift getaway.  There were 4 houses involved all had mother and families some as young as 18 months the oldest 13.  So you ask if we came back again to make ammends for the wrong we have done and my answer is yes but I also believe those who return must have a portal to get back to this life and that house I swear was such a portal.

Thanks frustrated, your correction to your text is fine. I took the original to mean the same with a friendly touch rather than agreement to my logic which runs so counter to your feeling and belief.

      Hi Peter (ant) ~

That is an incredible story for sure.  You definitely can tie all your pasts into the one portal, amazing.  I've had several pasts but one cannot tie into the other as far as I'm seeing, anyway.

I find these experiences fascinating as they confirm how I'm feeling about Heaven, Hell and purgatory.  Sometimes I feel we are sent back because not what we need to learn but to possibly "teach" someone.  That could be an unfinished business from a past life.

I have read and re-read your post and each time I find it more amazing than the prior read.  To find out that one was also called "ant" just like your nickname, that is way too much proof it you ask me.

You said you've researched all the facets of your past lives and have confirmed them via papers, grandmother etc...was that a taxing thing for you to go through?  I can't expect that it wasn't just set out before you, that you did have to go through some details in finding the truth, right? That would make a wonderful cover to end book with the details included.  Have you ever thought about writing this?

Well, off to do some "catch-up" with the grandson.  Will write later!

Hi Kate I did most of my research while youth and good health was on my side and that is were I ran out of steam trying to articulate the whole thesis into a book form I know there are similar books all on the same theme out there but each of us have put their own uniqueness into them this makes them easier for people to read time and again the only thing ties them together is DJV and this portal.  I concur with you on the point that sometimes we return to possibly teach a person but of what I would need to think on that one.

      Peter ~

I do want to thank you for sharing your experiences with us.  Too bad we aren't invincible and can continue on with out getting tired.  I'm sure you would have been quite the author.

You are correct, movies as well as books have covered this theme but so much more interesting being in the thrusts of it all!

AGain, I enjoyed your posts so I hope as you recall your experiences, you continue to write about them!
