I started off with dizziness and sickness I couldn't even walk without falling over. Now I'm constantly heave headed and feeling woozy snd off balance when I walk or stand up. When I lie down its heavy on my head too and I feel sickly. I've been to ent and they say it's nothing to do with my ear although I have got tinitus in m6 right ear and hearing loss for 3 years now. I'm waiting for an appointment with the nurologist in 3 weeks time. I just want something to be done im really fed up and on sick from work. HELP anyone?

hi michelle. I came across to this forum bcuz i too have similar symptoms you had. Are you fully better now? Its been about 8 months now since you were here. My most symptoms is feeling of balance i feel like i am in a boat with full head sometimes, it all started when i had cold last nov. 2016 also if i swallow i hear click sound. I just wonder if this is labyrinthitis. I live in the philippines it is hard for me to look for cure bcuz we do not have specialize medical people & stuffs here. I have been this awful feeling going 3months now some day are ok most are bad. Its also bring me to anxiety bcuz i constantly think of my symptoms. I been to ent/ check for vision but everything is normal. I lost a lot of pounds due to lack of sleep. I hope you can help me on what to do about medication or self treatment. Do you do vestibular rehab at home only? If you can reach my message please reply. I read all yor message here from feb to may. Thanks michelle

Hiya ayzzie. Thanks for your message. I am now fully recovered. Sorry you are going through this horrible illness. Yes it does sound like labrynthitus. I got better by the vrt exercises I was given by my audiologist. I did the exercises 3 times a day and also I'm on amitriptline which is a pain relief helped with my headaches and also the anixety I had with it. Keep pushing yourself get out walking about and do some exercises. I wish you the best of luck.

Michelle,
How did your MRI go? I'm deaf in my right ear and that's the ear that is causing me problems. Feels full, head pressure, lightheadedness, feels like I'm on a boat at times. It's awful.
