Heel Pain while sleeping on back

Just came back from physio and asked about the burning pain I feel on my heel and also how my ankle and lower calf feel like it has a l00 weight on it, while I sleep on my back.
She stated that is was not the surgery it is my back...she suggested that while I still have to sleep on my back I put a rolled towel under my lower back to alleviate some of the stress...she said I would have to make a few attempts to get the right dimention of the roll, ie. maybe a thin towell rolled 3 x or 4, or whatever gave me the most relief.
Will be interested in what some of your advice has been by physio.
Am starting my exercise to strenghen my operated leg so I can some down the stairs one at a time instead of the "old two step"!!!!
I'm just so lucky that I do seem to have unlimited physio through our general health care, whereas so many are just given a book to read!

I was told {at my first THR} to put a small pillow under my heels to stop "bed sores" LOLĀ It helped the pain

I will NEVER take my riser off my toilet...when I go out and use those low toilets, oh my goodness.....it's takes a lot of strength and work to get up off toilet.
