Hi ladies, I'm new on here, I just found out last Monday that I have cancer cells present in my womb after a d&c so I was told I have to have a full radical hysterectomy with open surgery. I'm only 31 and very overweight so my gynae consultant is going to try and give me a couple of months to loose as much weight as I can before surgery. I was just wondering what kind of pain relief you get after surgery, I'm scared and don't know what to expect. They took biopsys on Monday and depending on how aggressive the cancer is they might have to operate ASAP. I was just wondering if anyone else had this as the reason for a hysterectomy? Many thanks for reading all that! Lol
