Help?! I've just increased from 100 to 150 and need advice

I am a mess. I keep missing work and feel hopeless. I was on 100mg for about 10 yrs. my mother passed away 6 mths ago and I went to doc due to increased anxiety. Dosage was increased to 150 and Ativan .5 mg if needed. I hate taking Meds so I haven't taken the Ativan yet. I'm into my 4th week now and have not seen much improvement. I have no appetite. I feel hopeless and scared. Can anyone relate or give some feedback?

    Thank you all for the support. I had a bad day. No appetite and I threw up this morning. Prayers please.

      please also turn to god and do lots of good deeds , it helps a lot you will be surprised . I will pray for you too.
