Help me!! I am in so much pain!!

Hello,

I have written on here previously and had some amazing answers, today I am having a massive flare again and need some help and hope!!

The doctors are now telling me I am depressed, I can assure you I am not. They are telling me they have done all they can, but this does not help me. I am still in so much pain and I am still having all the symptoms I had before.

Please can someone help me!!

So today I had a flare up, quite large and extremely painful.

I started the day with a green tea and had yogurt and granola, throughout the day I have had green tea, white tea and peppermint tea. I then had a salad for lunch and a few pistachios for a snack.

I am not doubled over with pain, the pain is in the middle of my stomach (from top to bottom) and then either side at the top is really painful. The pain is making me feel nauseous and faint. To help ease the pain I am having to double over but this only relieves it for the moment. It is also causing me to have hot flushes!

Please can someone help me as I am becoming really scared of what it may be.

I have been told it is IBS but I still feel like it is something more. Even if the doctors won’t tell me I would quite like to know what it may be so I can research things that may help.

Thank you in advance!!

Hi Dana I also find that when I get a flare up it goes into my chest like something is stuck there ( feels a bit like my chest is full of wind) also bloated and soreness at the top left of stomach just under my breast area. Is this similar to your symptoms. I had a really bad flare last night and ended up having a panic attack so I called 999 I had an ecg etc and was sent to a&e for further investigation even though the ecg was ok....tests done at hospital blood test, chest xray and another ecg but revealed nothing. went home still with the tightness and fullness feeling in my chest and no diagnoses. Had an omposole this morning and relieved the acid burning type pain but still got the fullness in chest. can anyone relate to these awful symptoms.

Hello Mr G, I am 23 years old. I do eat a lot of salad but I try to avoid lettuce, I usually have things like peppers, cucumber and tomatoes.

I am exactly like you. I've had numerous tests. The docs think it's all in my head. Today I ate a toasted cheese sandwich. Within an hour I had terrible almost contraction pains in my stomach and through my back. I KNOW something isn't right. Whatever these doctors say. In desperation I am now paying almost £200 for the second time to see a third Gastro doctor privately, as nothing is being done by the two nhs doctors I'm under.

I'm at the end of my tether. I can't eat anything I don't know when the next crippling bout of pain will come. The pain also makes me sweat and go all hot flashy too. I can't cope anymore with it. I think over a year is long enough to make someone suffer.

Thats the same pain I get hun Id rather be in labour than have that sad what have you tried to ease your pain?

Nothing really gets rid of the pain. Co codomol takes the edge off it but really nothing touches it. I know something is wrong, but the doctors don't care. They arnt the ones who have to live with this daily.

Has anyone looked up the Dr Mozzi diet  it's a diet as much it goes by foods you should eat according to your Blood Group ,if not go have a look ,I suffer from IBS badly. So I took a look I was amazed at what I learnt  and explained why my I B S flares up,eating certain foods that I wasn't aware off.

I found it interesting read .

It would be great to hear how you get on. I have private health so been trying to use that but my doctor is reluctant to refer me (it takes a while!)

I am going to try acupuncture soon to see if that will help. I have also been given a number for someone who will do tests on me so I want to give them a call but they cost a bit so I will need to get the money first... Just a shame we have to fork out to get answers when we have free health care.

Haha haven't had a baby yet but that will ease the mind lol.

I try massaging and tablets. I have been put on meverine and alverine. They have also put me on 3 different types of anti depressants. The problem is, I don't want to rely on tablets all my life.

Wow im going to have to look up on things to avoid sad I had a donner meat pizza for tea it had tomatoes and onion on too... big mistake lol triggered it right away

No I wasn't, I made the mistake of telling them that my looks were becoming an issue. I get really bloated therefore I always wear baggy clothes but I feel that they are just prescribing me them for no reason.

I am such a happy person i just get down about this. If I had something that would help it then I wouldn't feel the way I do smile

Really? Oh no... I love tomatoes! I will cut these out and see of it helps xxx
