Help me identify this please...

Hello everyone,

Please help me identify this. I've been going crazy since last week.

I got a Braziliian wax on saturday and on sunday I was itchy and irritated down there. Red, glossy area... no pain, no stinging when peeing, no flu symptoms.

Monday, the cut (there was a definate scratch at the bottom which blew up into a blister - not filled with puss and is raised from the skin so i don't believe that's a herpes lesion. I'm more worried about the sides, which are red.

It's now wednesday and skin is raised and red and sort of peeling. !

Tested negative for HSV2 in june, and since then have slept with 2 guys (once each) with a condom. gyno said I had an active yeast infection right now.

Any thoughts or similar experiences here?

possibly to do with the wax. did you get a patch test

was it a new kind of wax or your first time?

no, it wasn't my first time. been getting them for years...

It's not the cleanest salon and they are quite rough and ready with their approach.

      Thoughts?

if u have a yeast infection it can cause the skin around the vagina to become sore and irritated it can blister if its been itchy from scratching

yes that's what I thought. I'm concerned because the gyno said it could be herpes and it was triggered from the wax.

Not sure if the pic is very clear but nothing is puss filled or grouped. I know that symptoms show up differently in everyone so intrigued to hear if anyoe has had this experience and what their results were.

i think its just irritated skin to be honest if your doctor thinks herpes let them do a test one way to be sure iv never heard of herpes being triggered by waxing unless u already have herpes very strange cos herpes is spread skin to skin or from the fluid in the blister 😒
