Help please... Is this genital warts?

Posted , 7 users are following.

I've found these growths on both sides of my vagina. They are sort of behind a fold of skin at the entrance on both sides. I've tried to see a nurse at the GUM clinic but they won't see me due to Covid and it not being an emergency. I have worried myself sick not being able to sleep due to this concerning me so much. I have tried to do the ACV test but all that done is result in burning my vagina.

Do they look like warts or VP? Obviously I want to get them checked by a Dr or nurse as soon as I'm able to.

😦 really. I was really hoping it wasn't. What treatment are you using. Also how long have you had them?

I don't know since when i have them. I noticed them at the end of January.

They gave me cream that is supposed to remove them but I am using it for a week now and nothing changed honestly.

It is really strange because non of my partners (ex and current bf) have any complains and i always use condom.

I can buy the cream online but I'm not sure what one to get with it being slightly inside my vagina. I don't want to cause more damage if I burn myself.

I can't believe the GUM won't help me due to Covid. I'm so stressed over it.

I hope it works for you soon.

They gave me Aldara 5% Cream, but i honestly don't know if you should spend your money on that.

And same i was trying to get help from few sexual health clinics and my GP at the same time(for about 3 weeks) then i couldn't deal with this stress and went to the emergency cabinet.

Are you in the UK? I don't know what else to do but buy the cream myself if they won't see me. I was told to ring back in a few months. I can't imagine leaving them for months if they are warts they will only get worse.

I live in London. I remembered i called at around the 8th of February and one nurse said "Call back after 6 weeks". I was like WoW.

If you don't want to risk with the cream i would suggest you buying vitamins.

Don't worry that they may get worst anyway if you threat it , it can show again after some time. If you are going to have sex use condoms.

I also got some aloe wash cream and I try not to think about it too much. But i honestly hope and think that they have mistaken VP for warts.

So did you go to an NHS walk in centre for treatment?

Sorry for the million questions but I have felt so at a loss at what to do to get an official yes or no.

Im really hoping mine are VP as they are in the exact same position on both sides which is common with VP. But the shape of them makes me think warts.

Yes I've been taking vitamins and I don't smoke. I'm usually fit an healthy so I'm surprised that my body hasn't shed the virus if it is HPV.

I went to the nearest hospital where i asked for the emergency cabinet. Went there and asked to be checked.

I am not sure they diagnosed me right because the doctor wasn't gynecologist.

I really hope they made a mistake for you, if the cream isn't working on them it's possible, but then you're treating something that isn't necessary. Hopefully after the update on Monday the GUM clinic may start seeing patients again.

I am also using Aldara 5% on a wart that had regressed on its own. It hasn't made much of a difference in speeding up the process I'm sad to say. If anyone wants somebody to talk to about this that is what I am here for.

this honestly looks like VP to me not warts ive currently been suffering for 7 months with GW and aldara warticon condyline all left me in so much pain! they never stayed away warts always returned. the only thing what works is the hpv vaccine which i paid for privately its compltely cleared them after them not going or clearing for 7 months. I would reccomend if you can get this if it is warts, but this looks more like VP

Thank you. I really hope that's what it is. I would have thought if it was warts I'd have more around my vagina.

7 months and no response from the cream isn't good at all. I'm glad the vaccine worked. I've looked into it an it's far too expensive for me unfortunately.
