Hi .
I have recently been under loads of stress and grieving. I lost my baby at 27 weeks he was born sleeping :-( 27th January. So since then I have had a lump feeling in my throat started to get worse. ( every day )The past 2 weeks or so this feeling as moved onto my chest In between my boobs . Feels like I got food stuck And it travels up and down . I don't get burning but just feels really uncomfortable. I also have symptoms tingling tongue /roof of my mouth/feels like my throat glands are swollen but they not. Really uncomfortable. sometimes I'll get a metal taste is my mouth . Taste abit like blood . My doctor first said I had globus sensation when I just had the lump in my throat ........ From suffering from bad health anxiety and depression I just got told to get a life from a nurse . By the way this is after 3 weeks of losing my baby boy !!!!! Absolutely disgusting How I've been treated. So I seen another doctor last week she said it could be acid reflux and referred me to ENT and gave me tablets. I have this feeling all day every day. Not had a break and could really do with my body going back to normal . Really struggling with this as I think I have some serious illness ( like cancer ovs that's the anxiety side ) but can't help but feel that way , want my baby too xxx so please can someone help me on what to do if it is or sounds like reflux to you xx many thanks

You need to give the tablets time to work depending on what they are. You have been referred to a specialist so that is good .
It could be a million and one things. Do you worry that everytime you drive your car you are going to be killed, of course not. So why think the worse of a condition. It could be reflux or something that will just go away of its own accord.
Relax, watch what you are eating as reflux is easily aggrevated by certain foods. There is some stuff I adore which I now avoid and that is with all the medication I am taking.

I would say that I manage my acid reflux by what I eat and I need medication as well. Balancing the two I am symptom free which is good enough for me.
Try eating well and regularly and see if your condition improves.

You hang on sweetie, you'll feel better again. The pain of the loss of a child is one that most people just don't get. Like that nurse who said that terrible thing to you, it was HER OWN inability to cope that was the problem! NOT YOU! And if you ever need to talk about it I'm ready and willing to listen, I've been there so I know what you are going through. I used to look at twin boys and cry, and even though I still feel that loss, I'm doing much better now. I even asked my doctor what I did wrong. He was a WONDERFUL man and explained to me that it wasn't anything I did, and that those things just happen sometimes, he was a gentle soul, I was fortunate to have had him as my doctor.
I hope you feel better soon honey, try those probiotics they REALLY helped me!

acid reflux will be common at the moment as greif is a form of stress which makes our body over react and make to much acid . give your self time hun and try to do something positive every day.
make a special window box as a rememberance so every time you look out your window your smile at the thought of your special baby
who the angels thought to precious to leave heaven .the pain will easy .hun dont rush it . its still very early .

However my real reason for contacting you is to say that I wish to join everyone else in saying how sorry I am to read of your tragic lose.
I can only hope that as time goes on the pain will get less and less. All I can add is that in the space of a very short time you have had to deal with some life changing events so of cause you will be feeling depressed and why shouldnt you but please dont bottle it all up inside but instead confide how you are feeling to your close friends and family as I am sure they will want to help you get through this awful time. Best wishes Ted
