Help! Thyroid or just anxiety?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced what I am going through right now. For the last two weeks I have been having the strangest feelings in the sides of my neck/throat, tightness around the back of my neck, some neck and shoulder aches and on the left side of my head I have this strange sort of ache that stems from the left back side of my head that seems to go up and above my eye as well as in my left temple. Not exactly like a headache but like tension and pressure. Not like my tension headaches. I can also feel it on the left top side of my head too. It's so annoying but I have been having it everyday and it seems to be worse in the morning and I immediately have an anxiety attack because I think it's another day of feeling this feeling. I can't help but think I am dying or going to die very soon. I went to the doctor's last week and she said I didn't have a brain tumor and that I didn't show any indicators of needing a scan, but I can't help but think I have a tumor! I also had my blood tested but haven't gotten the results back yet. I am kind of hoping it's my thyroid and not something more serious. So has anyone ever experienced these symptoms or does anyone have thyroid problems who have experienced these? Any help is much appreciated, I am desperate. Thank you!!

Anxiety sucks!!!! It manifests in so many ways I should be dead by now, that's how worked up I get with it all, always finding something new😬 my glands are up but only my left side.. Wierd , I've had chest pain, head pain, and lots more, its hard to just chill out, but we have to try at some point else we really will make ourselves poorly ☺

Haha I know, right?! My Dad always says, "you've been dying for the last few years, dear." I have to laugh.

Same here! Whole left side is in pain and discomfort. Chest, shoulder, hand, arm, armpit, shoulder, collarbone etc.. Depends on my posture and stress level a lot. Walking helps and all kind of likeable activity.
