Help, what are these stains that keep appearing on my bedding?

Over the last few weeks I am constantly getting these stains appear on my bedding, near the head end of the bed. Mainly appears on the bedsheet but also on pillows.
I have recently been suffering campylobacter food poisoning but this seems to start before that and I think it is probably not related.
I have also moved home, bought entirely new bedding and still get the problem. I'm washing my bedding regularly and it comes back and is showing no sign of going away.
What can this be, some sort of lice? Please help! My doctors pretty much ignored it when i raised it as they were focussed on the bacterial infection.

hi there! I've been getting those small black pillow stains and i thought could it be some sort of mold? my apartment had mold problem before and those stains appear around where my mouth would be at night. so i thought the mold would appear where drool was? also the stains go through the pillow case to the pillow and are impossible to wash out.

Hi,
those are not bugs at all. I have the same stains in my pillow, and it's just appears when I use my hair straightener but when I wash my hair and do not use it or dry it with anything I don't get those stains. btw my hair straightener has a titanium plates but that never happens when I use another one with ceramic plates. I don't know but it will be really beneficial to ask a hair stylist. Try to just wash your hair and not dry it or straighten it with anything and please let me know if that works.

Hi all,
does anyone know what this could be? ive has 2 nights now of these purple marks. i initally thought it was my clothing so the seccond night i changed the bedding and wore somthing diffrent and the same thing happened. might i also mention that both nights i was sleeping with the same crystal. i will sleep tonight without the crystal and with new sheets again. i have a new matress about 3 months ago with all new bedding so no chance of bed bugs like the thread has been suggesting.
any ideas?

EVERYONE! I figured it out. (For me at least) it is the combination of coconut oil and a black hair scrunchie I was wearing. I guess the oil in my hair was causing the dye from the scrunchie to run into spots where I sleep on my pillowcases. I normally wear simple hair ties and only recently have been using the black scrunchie. MYSTERY SOLVED!

Hello
I'm glad to find someone who has the same problem!
I find it disturbing not knowing the reason why I stain the pillow purple,
I have investigated that there are people who sweat blue, but... the strange thing is that I have never stained my white blouses.
It is something that happens at night and, the other day I saw a stain even under the pillow.
On the other hand, they follow strange patterns, lines of dots or droplets.
In addition, they are not removed when washing.

The same thing happened to me last week which lead on a goggle search. None of the answers made sense, except for one woman who suggested it might be spiritual. I also found someone who said they had unexplained stains of a different color and felt they may have been abducted. My purple spots are similar to those pictured. I washed the sheets but stains remained. I decided to attack it from all angles. I cleansed my house with cedar sage and also springled holy water on the bed. I brought in a statue of Mother Mary and Jesus. I said some prayers for protection, and asked help from the Archangels. Bottom line the anomolous stains have not reappeared. At least not yet. I am grateful.
I think it would be interesting to have a scientific lab look at the marking and try to determine what they are. In 2016, I had some backwardswriting in my bathroom also purple. I couldn't figure out what substance was used, but I could not clean it off and had to paint over it. I know I sound like a kook. I do not know if it is good or bad, but when I saw children were being affected I felt compelled to join the group and reply.
