Hemorrhoids - Rafaelo - Post procedure doubt

I had two Grade-2 Hemorrhoids and went through Rafealo procedure 3 weeks back to get them removed. My initial problem was the skin swelling during and post BM around anus (prolapsing hemorrhoids with immediate reduction) and no bleeding.
In the first week post ops there was little bleeding and no swelling. From Second week onwards skin swelling has returned back (skin protruding post BM and shrinking) and it seems like my original problem has returned. Not sure if that's Hemorrhoids or skin tag or swelling. I am seeing consultant on Sunday and will update..but if someone has faced this kindly share your experience..will give me some reassurance..

Hello Everyone,
I have been suffering piles for several years already, it was always something manageable, being pretty strict in terms of eating always vegetables with every meal or fruit, but last week the pain came back, and this time has been just horrible, for the whole week I have terrible pain after BM, so I said, that's enough suffering. I see this new rafaelo procedure can be painless, compared with other operations. Is anyone unhappy after the procedure? can it have side effects? like fistulas that can create a worse problem? I contacted Spire St Anthony’s Hospital because it's closer to my house. Anyone has had the procedure there?
Thank you!

Well I just done Rafaelo today in Guildford Whitely clinic, it was perfect, no pain almost, just mini discomfort. They released me after 10 min.. It seems I had level 3 , 3 piles, and 1 was very big, so they used more heat on that. so for now need just wait and see what will happen. My hemmuroid was very bad, each time you got blood in toilet....it was like that 3 years...

Reading this makes me pleased i went for the standard haemarhoidectomy surgery to get a huge grade 3 and attached very large skin tag removed.
I am on day 24 now and although still a bit of remaining discharge and soreness it is generally all a lot better now and there is no nonsense around my anus anymore. I still take a dulcoease every day to keep things soft but have been completely off the pain killers for 10 days now.
Day 0 was fine due to local anaesthetic. Days 1-2 were pretty unpleasant almost like having a load of broken glass in your bottom with a regular urge to poo when you can't. Days 3-5 were an ordeal (I literally cried from the pain for 4 hours running at one point on day 4 despite taking 3 cocodamol in the day) but this was mostly because i didnt take enough laxatives to pass a full bowel motion by day 2 in response to all the opiode pain relief I had used on days 2-3. The Dr didn't recommend enough laxative/stool softener and 5 sachets of Movicol plus 4 dulcolax were needed to shift the ensuing rock that was pressuring my sphincter and causing a lot of the added aggro. The relief after it was gone was so good and BMs were mostly a 2 out of 10 and a bit of soreness thereafter. Very important to use hydration, stool softeners and good fibre diet while staying regular through the recovery I would say. Also important to use the pain relief medication to get through the first week or two I would say. By day 6 though i was needing a lot less.
After that, aside from a 3-5 egg cup bleed and soreness on day 14 (not unusual im told) it was relatively all a lot better. It is worth adding that the pain was never as high as when I had problems from a severe blocked bowel over the years or the worst back spasms i have ever had so although it is bad at times it is not the most extreme pain you can go through.
It also helped that I took it very easy and rested a lot up to about day 15 before slowly ramping up the activity levels. I found it uncomfortable to sit before then. Took me until day 21 before i could walk 18 holes of golf for example and i was quite sore down there by the end of the round from the mucous alongside walking causing soreness like a nappy rash. Needed a long warm bath when i got in followed by nappy rash cream to calm it down again. When I play tomorrow a big dose of nappy rash cream is going on before hand which I hope will help a lot.
I am only just getting back to normal now and its definitely a lot more than the 1-2 week recovery they advertise but feel its been well worth it for me. No constant oozing blood, no big hard to clean lumps around my anus and no blood dripping like a very leaky tap when im on the loo. I may even be able to use the exercise bike at the gym in a few weeks time again which had become impossible before I finally grasped the nettle and got this sorted.

Hi There,
I have done my surgery 5 weeks ago. I am still experiencing mucus discharge all day ( I have to put pads) .
I am also experiencing yellow watery discharge after each BM which can last to 1 hour ( I might notice sometimes very few remaining poop when I wipe).
Is it part of healing process ?
