Herpers or just an infected folliculitis?

Hii! mine looks exactly like that! how long have you had them? when will you get your results?

It looks like herpes 😕, at first it appears like pimple then it'll spread in diff areas. I thought that i hv UTI and infected ingrown hair but my ob said it looks like herpes. It appears to me that I am now in an outbreak, they are now spreading in my inner thigh but I'm on my meds so i hope it'll prevent or shorten the outbreak.. just got swabbed on the sores yesterday, it'll be released on Sat. I do hv an schedule for HIV, syphilis and venereal dse on that day too, me and my bf opted to take the screening just to make sure and keep our minds at ease. 😅

Hi Sofie! They're still painful when I move or touch them. Tho' the burning pain whenever i pee is kinda lessen.. There are also some itchiness inside.. Today i noticed new bumps in my inner thigh and some itchiness I am really convinced that this is herpes.. How abt u? How are you doing?

Oh okay, i am so sorry! Hope you will get better soon:)! does it feels like the meds are helping anything? I am also convinced i hv herpes, i couldnt think of any other reason my body is acting this way. But i am starting to accept it, i hv been really sad and depressed these last few days, but! today is the first day im not as down, still in pain tho bcus my vaginal opening have a deep cut and tear:/

The worst part of this, besides the pain, is the stigma around herpes. that i am withholding my self by being so scared, but im working on it. The first OB is a hell, but then hopefully its not that bad (so ive heard). At first i felt like my life was over, i felt disgusting and so frkn alone. i thought that i never would be able to hv sex again or find love, because who would want me, when i dont even want me.

i dont have a boyfriend, the partner who i think gave it to me is just my sexual partner, and im scared hes not the the one who gave it to me, like i had this in my body for years. I am afraid to tell him or ask him. im scared hes going to think im disgusting and never want to be with me again. i am going to tell him soon, he wants to see me this week. my heart is breaking beforehand because i like him so much. Im actually hoping hes the one who gave it to me, so we can still be with eachother without beeing scared. aah so sad haha

Something that has helped with my view and feelings about myself, and herpes, is this forum:)and also another forum that i saw a lot of ppl onhere reffering to, "herpes opportunity". Now i dont feel disgusting and ive accepted my self and i accept the herpes , i havent got my results back yet but it has to be herpes. But its okay!! And its still okay to be sad, but then i hv to remember life is not over

Aww.. You know, it is very nice to have someone like you here, it just feel sp good to talk to someone who cam understands what you're going through. I am hoping you and your partner end up together 😊 it appears to me that u r a really nice person. My bf is very supportive to me rn, he took the responsibility of me having these, but nevertheless I chose him, and i should be ready whatever it is.. Also,he still don't hvany symptoms of herpes, he is just perfectly normal.. But based kn what i read on this forum, it is really possible that ur partner doesn't hv any sores or bumps..

just like u, i already accepted that this is really herpes. Still praying for the both us! Hope we both heal fast. 🙏 Just an update, my sores in buttocks area are now gone, I am just having some itchiness in my bikini area, no bumps just patch of redness esp when I scratch it, overall the medicine works, thus this is really herpes 😅. Please keep me updated when you hv ur results. I'll let you know mine too once i get it. 😊

i really hope thats the case with the guy, im supernervous, but whatever happens if we end up togheter or not, it will be ok.

Hi sofie! Hope you're now doing well.. My sores are now slowly healing, but im experiencing some tingling sensation in my hands and feet. My results for herpes and other STDs will be on Tuesday.

Hii iannie! thank you so much:) oh not so fun that the results will come later but atleast you know when!:) Its good to hear the sores are staring to heal, thats positive! The tingling in your hand and feet dosent sounds nice tho, hope it will pass soon. Are you doing okay otherwise? I started to feel tingling, or pain in my nerves, from my buttocks down to my legs some day ago, but its now gone:) The sores are almost gone completely, its only like a read mark from where they hv been. And finally the "papercut" in my vaginal opening are starting to heal so i am not in as much pain now hehe. Hope the pain are better for you aswell!

i havent gotten my results yet either, but probably at the beginning of the week, will let you know as soon they come:)

Hii again! I called my doctor today bcus i did not hear from them the entire week. Toady the doctor said that the swab test got messed up, the lab tested it as a blood test instead of a virus-swab-test (dont know the word in english). Soo i will not know what the test will show, that sucks but the doctor said hes 99% sure its herpes. He also said i could do s new swab test if i get a OB again, but that feels unesessary, so he prescribed new antivirals incase i get symptoms of an OB again. But i would like to know what type of hsv it is so I would like to do a blood test, but i think its too soon for that rn. But the other test was negative for chlamydia and Gonorrhea:)

Besides that im doing good and are barely thinking of it now that they are all gone. i want to say Thanks for beeing here, and i wish you best of luck❤

I haven't gotten the results yet, still waiting for my hiv testing.. Same experience, at first it's all itching no noticeable bumps, but after I think 2 to 3 days that's were the bumps appeared
